Fabulous 1 bedroom Palapa style home just one hour south of Puerto Vallarta by water taxi. It's private, secluded, quiet, serene and beautiful with three pristine beaches. Hiking,swimming,kayaking,snorkeling,fishing,beach combing or just hanging out on the hammock....it's all here in paradise. If you are looking for a romantic getaway that's off the beaten path and away from the hustle and bustle of city life then you have come to the perfect vacation spot. Marselva, also know as Los Chonchos to the locals is an Eco Preserve that provides for off the grid living with all the comforts of home. Our palapa, Casa Blanca, is solar powered for electricity and hot water with propane for the cooktop and frig in the kitchen. The casa has a separate bedroom with a queen sized bed, full bathroom with indoor/outdoor shower with hot and cold water, a kitchen with refrigerator and freezer, two burner cooktop and sink with counter and storage space. The open air casa has a great room with a rattan sofa with overstuffed comfy cushions, tables, two rattan chairs and dining area with hand made wooden table with 4 chairs all overlooking the ocean and beach below. What's not to love !
For the adventure minded, we have a two person double Hobie kayak for ocean exploration, fishing and snorkel gear too! Several marked trails through the jungle areas are popular with hiking enthusiasts and the small fishing village of Chimo is a great 40 minute hike through the jungle and along the gorgeous big beach. Paradise awaits you.......
Accessing our property is by water taxi which leaves from Boca de Tomatlan, a water taxi hub and fishing village just 25 minutes south of Puerto Vallarta. The water taxi, Nayeli, leaves Boca twice daily at 9am and 3pm arriving at Los Chonchos beach at 10am and 4pm. The water taxi stops at several villages in route offering many Kodak moments.
