Description

"Arun Mekong" is a traditional Cambodian Guesthouse located on a wonderful Island in the Mekong River near Kratie. Koh Trong Island is a calm place where you can discover traditional Cambodian culture and nature in a nut shell, relax on the river under huge Mango trees or take a swimm in the Mekong.

The ground floor of the Guesthouse has two rooms (27$ double) with private bathrooms, the 3 rooms (22$ double) at the 1st floor share one bathroom. We have also 2 independent bungalows with bathroom (33$ double). An additional double bed can be placed in each of the rooms. We dispose as well of large terraces and a restaurant with nice traditional furniture and decor.

Please note: There is no electricity on the island so we cannot provide air conditions, fans or hot water also no Wifi but you can get in the internet via your phone. A generator provides electricity 4-5 hours in the evening. At the site, the guesthouse is managed by local people from the island (1 speaking English). However for bookings and questions you can contact us in Ennglish, French, German.

We are open for individual tourists, small groups or may also rent the house for special events (your birthday party, a small retreat etc.). Boats tours to the Irrawadi Dolphins and bicycle trekking tours can be organized.

How do damage deposits work?

If Peter (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
