This lakefront home has it all - cathedral ceilings, a wall of windows facing the lake, stone fireplace, air conditioning, fully-equipped kitchen, 5 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, game room with 52" HDTV, quality full-sized pool table, air hockey, games, WiFi, etc. Each room has its own thermostat for your comfort. There is a portable crib for use in any of the bedrooms. The house has a hot tub located on the huge rap around deck, as well as a screened in porch, 2 boats and a dock with seating.

We have recently added a 50" smart TV in the living rm/dining room with cable TV and a number of premium channels. There is also a TV in the master bedroom with cable hookup.

Our sunsets over the lake are breathtaking!

This property is in the gated community on Big Bass Lake. You’ll be within a 3/8 mile walk to the family picnic area and private beach. The community has many amenities, including a clubhouse, an olympic sized heated outdoor swimming pool, splash pad, an indoor pool, tennis, basketball, playgrounds, family skiing and tubing, ice skating, etc. In the summer, you can rent small boats at the nearby beach. Also at the nearby beach is a playground, picnic table, floating swim platform and of course, a lifeguard for your safety.

Amenity use passes must be purchased for renters age 7 and above only if the amenities are used. Parking is free.

Our home is close to the heart of the Poconos. There are lots of things for you to do. Mt Pocono (15-20 minutes) has interesting shops. The Fun Station is 10 minutes from the house with miniature golf, putting, go carts and lots of games. They have a nice restaurant there called The Station House (Irish Pub and Steakhouse). There is shopping in Dickson City (about 20 minutes north) and restaurants. At the Crossings Outlet (25 minutes away) you will find a huge shopping center with lots of bargains (factory outlet shopping). Split Rock Resorts in Lake Harmony has indoor water slides for children and adults. Claws and Paws is a nearby zoo. There is white water rafting, paintball, horse back riding, biking, antiquing, etc. Mt Airy Lodge, just 15 minutes away, has casino gambling.

Camelback Ski Resort is 25 minutes away.

We require our renters to sign a lease, as well as a BBL rental agreement. This form will be submitted by us to the community association and will generate a registration number which will make it easy for you to enter the community.

We supply mattress covers on our comfortable beds, blankets, quilts or bedspreads and pillows. You would bring sheets and towels. Please inquire if you wish to be provided with linens.

NO PROM GROUPS. The minimum age to rent our home is 23. We can accommodate 12 people.

Getting around

Our renters can use any of the amenities of the Big Bass Lake Community which are either a short walk or short car ride away. There is plenty of parking at the facilities. Amenity use passes must be purchased for renters age 7 and above only if the amenities are being used. They can be purchased at the clubhouse, pool or Administration Office.

Interaction with guest

I am available by cell, land phone, fax and email throughout your stay and will respond to your concerns in a timely manner. You will receive information and directions via email which should answer any questions about the house and community. Also, when you enter the community, you will receive maps and other information, especially related to the community's facilities.

House rules

There is a lease as well as the Big Bass Lake rental application, which will register your group with the community association. These will be sent to you by email.
We rent to groups age 25 and up. Please be considerate of our neighbors.
Also, respect our property and don't litter. Smoking is allowed on the screened in porch and deck. There are smokers for your convenience next to the front door and on the deck.
