Description

This Caribbean guest home has the best location on the Brac and is the ONLY private rental home in this area. The "Golden Mile" is the ONLY area on Cayman Brac with Reef protection providing a calm lagoon. The beaches in this south side area are the only ones that do not have Iron shore on the Island. The Cottage is located on the grounds of the resident owner and is within walking distance to Resorts, restaurants, bars, gift shops and car rental agencies. The area is on the windward side of the Island and the Cottage's peaceful surroundings offer secluded rest and relaxation with cooling breezes. Guests say we have "the best beach on the Island!" There is a 13% tourist tax that must be paid to the owner upon arrival in US cash for submission to the Government.

Getting around

Renting an auto is very easy and reasonable. You can pick your car up at the Airport, and return it also to the airport (just leave the keys in it). There are sights that do require an auto - and you can rent for as many days as you wish.

Interaction with guest

I will be sending to you a letter with directions to the Cottage, along with 2 additional pages of information that you will find useful for your trip, along with and recommendations for diving establishments, car rentals, and other amenities that the Brac has to offer. I will be at the Cottage to welcome you upon your arrival. I will also be available for any questions and information that you need for your visit. I will also be glad to give you information on the Island as I have been in residence on Cayman Brac since 1993. Please e-mail me with any questions that you may have.
