Getting around

There is a public bus line (14 Codesa) which stops at 300 m from the house, but I recommend to rent a car and use my house as a base for exploring the area: Uruguay's main attraction are its beaches, so most visitors come in summer. It possesses 450 km of coasts along the Río de la Plata and 220 km on the Atlantic Ocean where besides José Ignacio, Punta del Este and Manantiales, beaches in Rocha are stunning: you can either visit: La Pedrera, La Paloma, Cabo Polonio, Punta del Diablo, and Santa Teresa beaches.

I'll be present both at check in and check out, to deliver the keys and explain the house rules. Take into consideration I might not be staying in town, but I'll be available 24/7 on my phone for anything you might need.

House rules

There is a charge for use of electricity and water: USD 0.25 per kWh and USD 3 per m3.

When locking the house up, set the alarm system, check all the windows are locked and lower all the curtains as well.

Check in/out after hour times have an extra charge of USD 50.

You must be at the house both at check in/out.

Please enter the cushions every night so they don't get wet because of the morning dew.

Please park your vehicles on the designed parking area. Do not park on the garden grass.
