Very Good

“It was superb”

Reviewed 22 May 2014

The stay was magnificent. Nice water, and plenty of uncrowded beach for miles. The surrounding neighbors are plenty nice. And what is better having fresh vegetables and beer right in the village. You could not ask for more for this price.

“Adventure, relaxation, diversity, totally awesome”

Reviewed 3 Apr 2014

We were so totally and completely impressed with our stay we booked another stay almost immediately to bring the whole family. The beaches are pristine, with sea shells and sand dollars everywhere. The home is very accommodating with nothing left undone. Milo and Boni were very helpful anytime we needed assistance. The little village just a few miles away has most things you will need if you can make meals from scratch. If not you will need to do your shopping in Rocky Point. We absolutely enjoyed the real old Mexico. With Olive, and Orange orchards everywhere to asparagus and grape plants as far as the eye can see. The dirt streets in the villages are just as inviting as the beaches of Las Dunas. With their beautiful children roaming them and plenty of beautiful flowers and shrubs decorating as well. I honestly thought I was going to be bored out of my mind, however it turned out there wasn't enough minutes in the day to do all there is to do. We roamed out into the desert east and north of the beach house and found giant cacti that reached 100 feet in the air, we rode down the beach, yes right down the beach to the little fishing village of Dezemboque 16 miles to the south with nothing in between but birds and fish and golden brown sand and fresh air. This place has something for everybody, I promise you will not be disappointed. we made sure to book our next stay twice as long so we could take in more activities. Bring your passport, Bring your camera, Bring your appetite for real authentic Mexican Food, from fresh fish to fresh farm raised chicken and luscious asparagus and real homemade tortilla's and hot sauce, but most importantly bring your spirit of adventure and unleash it on the real Old Mexico, because where the pavement ends life as you have never known it will begin.

“Fun times at the beach”

I had a great time at the beach, while kayaking, four wheeling, swimming, and more. The couches and beds were comfortable, it was clean , the location was nice and secluded and we had no issues with service

“The best Mexico experience ever.”

Reviewed 31 Mar 2014

Milo and Boni were very welcoming and a joy to be with. They made sure that we had every thing we needed. The home was clean and inviting. It was a home away from home. I love waking up and hearing the ocean and the birds. The location is perfect. I loved seeing a new culture. It is hard to pick the best thing about our vacation; it was all great. Okay, I would say four wheeling on the beach and collecting sea shells and seeing all the different cacti. Food was great, ocean beautiful, relaxing, kayaking was good, weather was perfect. I was sad to leave. I can't wait till we go back. I hope to see the dolphins next time. Thanks Milo and Boni for a wonderful time in Mexico.

“Simply an amazing Vacation!”

My family seeks "off the beaten path" vacation spots. Santo Tomas and Milo and Boni's Casita absolutely fulfilled everything we were looking for plus more! Our family of four (15 year old son and 13 year old daughter) , along with my daughter's friend (14 year old) loved every minute of our time spent beach combing, swimming, boogie boarding, sunbathing, kayking, cooking and eating fresh fish and Mexican food, attempting to converse with the locals, and shopping in the quaint villages/towns surrounding Santo Tomas. My only regret is waiting half a day in Puerto Penasco, we have vacationed there 8 other times in the past (5 or so years ago) but this time wanted to stay clear of the crazy, built up, Americanized town. This vacation was the perfect solution. The Casita had everything we needed to make for a comfortable stay. We were so appreciative of all the toys that we were able to use and of the helpful suggestions, sun burn ointment and camaraderie provided by Boni and Milo. Some highlights included: kayaking with the dolphins, watching an octopus hatch her babies, figuring out how to buy shrimp and languado from the small fishing village of Desemboque while speaking no Spanish, showing our children real Mexico, learning about Milo and Boni's new citrus and wine making adventure, eating amazing Chicken in Y Griego, playing with the friendly blue jellyfish, watching the sunsets from the incredible sun deck, and simply unwinding in paradise on Earth! We are so excited to bring family and friends back on our next vacation here!

Response from the owner Thanks Andy, Brooke and the bomber kids for coming and staying with us. You are all the best. Boni and Milo

“A great place to relax and play”

Boni and Milo have a great place to relax and play right on the beach. I highly recommend this place.

“Wonderful & relaxing place!”

Reviewed 25 Mar 2014

My husband & I stayed in this adorable casita for 1 wk w/two teenage boys. They were up & out early each morning playing on the sea kayaks & beach. We had the entire beach practically to ourselves everyday and enjoyed beautiful sunsets each night. We took wonderful day trips to the cities of Caborca & Puerto Penasco, visited beautiful churches, markets, vineyards, restaurants, and nearby villages. It is located just far enough off the beaten path to be able to experience the great local culture and to have a very relaxing vacation at the same time. The owners were very fun, friendly, knowledgeable & accommodating. Highly recommended!

“Best Vacation Ever!”

This house is fantastic. You will love the beautiful beach, kayaks, dolphins and warm temps. But most of all you will love Milo and Bonnie! The house is beautiful and holds as many as you care to bring. The kitchen is stocked with any needed supplies. Everything is perfect down to the last detail. We loved every second of our vacation! The location is perfect for relaxing and getting away from it all.
