“Fun, Safe and Relaxing while in accra”

Reviewed 30 Mar 2013

I stayed for a month at the large villa and was more than pleased with the safety and service from the people who work there. They not only ensured I was safe, they also taught me a lot about Ghana and the food they like to eat. Yes, the power goes out in accra but Freddie would start the power generator immediately. Gloria ensured the villa stayed clean and taught me how to cook a few Ghanaian dishes. Zachary was the night watchman and all was quiet in the evenings. Many thanks to Victor for such a great welcome when I arrived and for his help and smiling face every day. Want to experience the true culture of accra...stay here...it is peaceful, safe and so much fun. They are there to help you no matter what question you may have. A fabulous experience...stay here, you will not be disappointed.

“6th visit to this Villa”

Reviewed 18 Mar 2013

I have as per heading stayed at this Villa on 6 occassions. Its located nearer Tema than accra about 45 minutes by car from the accra airport (Depending on Traffic). I Like the location of the Villa, is a quiet peaceful safe area. I walk around the area during the eveenings as part of my exercise schedule and never feel intimidated. The Owner has done a tremendous amount of work at the villa since my fist visit. It looks like he intends to keep upgrading. If Visiting Ghana for the first time you have to bear in mind that ther are regular electricity blackout periods which can last from 1hour to 5 hours. The Owner Winfred, has installed a new generator as a back up for power during thee blackout periods. The swimming pool od great. Winfred intends to do some modifications to access it more easily instead og climbing over the rai. Victor the Manager is very helpful and willing. Grace the cleaner will assist you in anyway she can. All in all I enjoy staying at this particular Villa I have stayed at a few others in accra, although ths one is out of town for me its the best. “Fantastic Villa”

Reviewed 27 Nov 2012

Classy Ghana Villas is a fantastic home away from home . This is a beautiful new place not far from downtown accra via the Tema motorway . The villa is very well furnished and very well decorated. I was quite impressed by the level of service and attention to detail provided by the staff namely Joe, Zachary and Olivia. The pool is properly maintained and very well cleaned. This villa comes with flat screen TV in most of the rooms. The grounds is very well kept. The staff were very friendly and pleasant to deal with and they made sure our was very enjoyable . I will definitely come back to visit again

“Great location and wonderful villa”

Reviewed 24 Nov 2012

Classy Ghana villas is perfectly located. We rented the villa from the owner directly. The location is new and easily accessible to downtown and the accra Mall via the Tema Motorway. The staff were really great and the villa is always kept clean as well as the the pool. The villa is well equipped, and very well decorated both the interior and the exterior. The villa pool and facilities more than lived up to the description on the website. It's always well maintained and clean. I'll definitely recommend this villa to all guests visiting Ghana.

“Magical african vacation”

Reviewed 25 Oct 2011

We loved our stay at the Villa the summer of 2010. It was truly the best vacation we ever had. Everyone was wonderful and we received the best service we could ever have imagined. The food was just delicious! I loved the shrimp, breadfruit, plantains, and fresh fruits. Having real Ghanaian dishes cooked as they should be was fantastic. The villa is sooo beautiful and we loved every minute of our stay. No doubt about it that this was the best deal in town and Joe and Victor made everything so easy and fun. The view from the veranda in the back was gorgeous, overlooking the professional beautifully landscaped garden. The service and the staff is what make this place very homey. Moses was a wonderful driver and took us safely everywhere we needed to go. At the villa we spent time in the fabulous pool from early morning to late night, we made a few trips to the beach, but much of our time was spent just relaxing at the Villa. Our favorite part of our stay at the villa was chilled beer and barbecue out on the veranda in the early evening.. We missed everyone Victor, Moses, Love and Beatrice, This villa is our home away from home, we can't wait to return. Thanks you for a memorable experience!

“Trip of a lifetime!”

Reviewed 23 Oct 2011

Wow! Where do I begin?!? , I went to Classy Ghana Villa from Nov. 3rd - 10th, 2010. I took 3 friends along, for what truly turned out to be the trip of a lifetime!! The Villa is amazing! Beautifully decorated in the bright, vibrant colors, incredibly well kept up both inside and out, gorgeous plants and flowers abound throughout the villa and around the grounds, and the coolest swimming pool any of us had ever seen!! Let me start out by saying a huge Thank You to Victor, the manager of the property. The staff were so welcoming, gracious and there for our every need. Our stay would not have been half of the experience without them... Moses was not only our driver, but the best tour guide you could hope to have. We enjoyed hearing about the history of Ghana and getting to see the the slave trade post in Cape Coast Castle, the Elmina slave post, the Kakun safari reservation. We went shopping at the accra Mall and lounged at the beach..We were a wild bunch, and everyone at the beach pretty much got to know us the first day!!. You must stay at the Classy GhanaVilla and experience it for yourself, and make your own memories! This is the first time I have ever went on a vacation to Ghana. We all came back refreshed, rested and happy. It was a combination of the Villa, the staff, the friends we made there, the beautiful warm weather that made our stay truly enjoyable experience. This Villa is truly the whole package! And last but not least thank you to all the staff.. You guys are awesome! Hands on from day one! Without the wealth of information from our driver Moses who drove us to all the historical places in Ghana we have been at a lost without him. Thank you. Wow! on our arrival everything was above and beyond our wildest dreams! I going back!! Soon! Thank You for sharing your little slice of Heaven with us! Much Respect!.

“Sweet Escape”

Reviewed 10 Sep 2011

We had a marvelous stay in accra at the Classy Ghana Villas. Very reasonably priced for a luxury Villa My kids love the villa, the swimming pool, the play station with all great games that comes with it. That was a plus for me. The staff was very hospitable and courteous. The landscaping is beautiful; and the overall feel is great and very welcoming for me. It makes me happy to see my family so happy. I consider it a top choice for families visiting the city. It is located in a quiet neighborhood. We will always stay there. Thank you for another great stay!

“The property was secure, well maintained and comfortable.”

Reviewed 9 Sep 2011

My family (wife, teenage son and daughter who had just graduated college) and I visited Ghana for a week in February, 2011, and stayed in Villa 1. It was everything we expected as far as what we saw on the website and other information that we got speaking directly with the proprietor. The property was secure, well maintained, spacious and comfortable. Internet service was always available as promised on the desktop in the house. The "security" or more apt "caretaker" of the property, Moses is an affable fellow who at any hour is around to make sure the property is secure. The maid, Hilda, is a delight; she made sure that whatever utensils we used was promptly washed and was always ready with a smile to cater to our every need. A pity we spent so little time at the property -what with our ambitious itinerary: Day 1-2(Togo and Benin); day 3 (Cape Coast); Day 4-5(Elimina and Kumasi); day 6 (Accra and flyout). So we were mostly on the road with the car we rented from the Villa, a handsome and sturdy Mitsubishi Montero SUV that negotiated the treacherous sections of Ghanaian roads with ease. Our driver Obi, must be given kudos for safe and reliable driving but he is not much of a tour guide. Its not that he doesn't know but Obi is just that individual with a singular focus and that is to get his passengers around Ghana safely without much talking. I would recommend taking a tour guide or someone who is at least conversational and can communicate general information about locations one might be passing while traveling in Ghana. All in all, Classy Ghana Villas was a very secure, clean and comfortable base for what was a wonderful pilgrimage to the Slave Route in Oudah Benin, the Slave Forts of Cape Coast and Elmina and the land of the ashantis up in Kumasi.

“Peace and Tranquility at an excellent price”

Reviewed 5 Sep 2011

I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at the Villa (#2) it was much larger than imagined. There is another small Villa situated behind the main Villa. The Villa is located about 30 minutes from accra airport if traffic is light, just for reference Ghana roads are notoriously poor condition and drivers beware. The Villa is in the Community of Baatsonaa, #20 off Spintex road (Main Hwy). Maid service is provided daily and a Cook is available if required, we did not take up the Cook option as one of our gang is a cook. Villa#2 has 4 bedrooms 2 Double and 2 Single, The main bedrooms have bathroom en-suite the other 2 bedrooms share a bathroom. The Main Lounge is well laid out and large, there is a TV, DVD, Music Centre alongwith a PC for internet connection. Just off the Lounge is a nice Dining Room with a table for 6 persons. The Kitchen is well equipped.Off the Kitchen in the hallway is a washing machine. Clothes dried outside no drier but that was no problem for us,. In the grounds there is a large swimming pool this is cleaned daily, very relaxing and enjoyable. The Site Manager Victor is extremely helpful, he is there most of the day. There is 24 hour Security te nights covered by a guy named Moses who again is extremely helpful. The Villa stands in a quiet location. there are a few stores nearby and a few roadside stalls selling Fresh Veggies and Fruit. Main shopping you need to go to the main shopping Mall or a couple of miles down the road is a reasonable shopping area its on Spintex Road the name I cannot recall. There is a small Bar at the bottom of the road about 100yards from Villa. All in all our group were extremely satisfied with the Villa had booked again for august/September but due to circumstances beyond our control we had to cancel that trip but rebooked for December and april 2012. Highly recommended.
