Description
Loma Verde Apartments in Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote are located just above the Old Town. The development has a large communal swimming pool, and a separate child's pool.
Our Apartment no. 425 is south facing and directly in front of the pool on the first floor. The 16sq m balcony is equipped with a table, chairs and sun loungers and receives sun all day long.It also enjoys truly amazing panoramic sea views.
The apartment has a kitchen with stainless steel appliances including, hob, a fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and chrome fixtures with a granite work surface top. Oven unit if you Like eating in.
There Lounge is open plan with the dining area. A large sofa in the lounge converts into a double bed, Cable TV has 12 channels both English and Irish channels and if you have films/programmes on USB key, there is a port a the back of the TV for playing same. There is also a selections of good books. Wifi has been recently installed.
The recently refurbished bedroom consists of 2 single beds with a large wardrobe and bedside cabinet. The apartment has a safe and hair dryer. The bathroom has a large walk in shower.There are extra utilities in the apartment which include a washing machine, iron, ironing board and extra storage space for luggage cases etc. The apartment sleeps 2 to 3 people with twin beds and double pull out sofa, a travel cot is also available for infants.
The complex is a few minutes' drive from the exclusive, international marina of Puerto Calero. An excellent choice of restaurants and shops are nearby.

“Fantastic apartment”
We have just got back from a weeks holiday staying in this lovely apartment. It has everything we needed and more. It is very clean with plenty of towels. The balcony has a beautiful views over the pool and sea. The owner Patrick gave us very comprehensive instructions about our arrival, was very easy to get hold of before our stay and messaged us on our second day to make sure everything was ok. The complex was very quiet and although up a hill, the view was great. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone wanting accommodation in this area.

“Perfect little apartment”
Everything you need to have a comfortable stay in PDC, sleeps 4, sofa bed in lounge very comfortable as are the 2 single beds, south facing balcony so sun all day but has a shade canopy. Pool well maintained and very clean, but not heated. Fab view from balcony, very peaceful and quiet at night

“Fabulous!”
From the moment we came across this property the owner was on hand to answer any of our questions! Once we were confident it ticked all the boxes for me and my family, we booked and I'm so pleased we did. Lovely apartment, clean, fabulous balcony! Complex has a lovely feel! Very safe! Pool area was immaculate, plenty of beds and the property is in ideal location, plenty going on within walking distance. We're only just home and I'm already looking at going back in September! “Superb views and communal pool area.”
This was our first stay at Loma Verde and we had a great time despite some of the Covid 19 restrictions/closures in place around the resort. Paraics apartment is equipped to a really good standard with a modern kitchen and bathroom. Comfy beds, plenty of hot water for the shower and a super fridge that is quick to chill those so important cold drinks. Whilst we didn't cook ourselves, the kitchen seemed well equipped for anyone wanting to self cater. The complex is also situated near a bus stop for several routes giving frequent and cheap access around the resort and other towns/villages on the island. The star feature of the apartment however is the balcony with superb sea views and an orientation that gets the sun all day. Before travelling we had read previous reviews and therefore had some high expectations for the balcony - but we were still blown away by how good the views were. The balcony is equipped with 2 sunbeds and table and chairs for 4 and was just a wonderful place to spend time chilling. The communal pool area was also really good and very well maintained. Because the complex is part residential & part holiday makers it was never too busy and therefore another super space to relax in. The owner was easy to deal with and very quick to respond to emails and we wouldn't hesitate in returning to Paraics apartment in the future. A couple of points to be aware of are: 1) The complex does have a hillside location so may be problematic for some with mobility issues. However, we are both in our 60's and we managed the walk from the seafront on a daily basis. 2) The complex service road/footpath would benefit from some maintenance as mentioned in other reviews. These issues however do not relate to the apartment or the communal pool area and shouldn't be regarded as possible barriers for anyone thinking about renting this apartment.
