Searenity is a new, modern 3-bedroom holiday house in a peaceful location at idyllic Emu Bay on the north coast of Kangaroo Island. Enjoy sweeping sea views from the living area and deck. Searenity is spacious, elegantly appointed and provides all the facilities and comforts for a relaxing stay for just a couple or up to eight guests. It also offers 2 bathrooms and an additional washroom and a well equipped kitchen with dishwasher.

Take advantage of the close proximity to the beautiful safe swimming beach, boat ramp and fishing from either the jetty or one of the available fishing charters.

Emu Bay is only a 15min drive to the Island's main township of Kingscote and central to the island's natural attractions.

We own and operate Searenity Holiday Accommodation and live nearby. We pride ourselves on offering a very high standard of customer service and attention to detail which is continually reflected in the feedback we receive from our guests.

As a guest at Searenity you will not be sent instructions on where or how to collect the keys to our holiday home as we will be there to greet you on arrival and hand them to you in person and answer any questions you may have.

I was a Park Ranger for 30 years and some of that time was spent at Flinders Chase National Park. I am more than happy to provide you with suggested touring information when you arrive to make sure you make the most of your stay on Kangaroo Island.

Interaction with guest

We will meet you on arrival to give you the key and answer any questions you may have and therefore would appreciate if you could let us know your anticipated time of arrival once you have made your travel arrangements to the Island. We only need an approx. time. (If you are travelling on the Sealink Ferry from Cape Jervis to Kangaroo Island you need to book your ferry passage in advance, as it is not an “arrive and drive on” ferry service).

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your booking page. To change your dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send HERB (the owner) a message.

If HERB (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
