The villas are situated in a private big colonial house around a peaceful central courtyard with flowers and colibris. We have a heated swimming pool and jacuzzi. Ideal for snowbirds from the US or Canada, Spanish students, volunteers, families with kids. Family atmosphere amongst a Belgian-Guatemalan family. Nice and quiet neighborhood, only 10 minutes on foot to central square, 5 minutes to the famous church of La Merced and 5 minutes to the central market. Just behind our house we have the famous ruins of La Recolección, my favourite.

Each flat has marble bathrooms and a wooden kitchen with granite top. All flats have huge glass sliding doors for lots of sunlight and great views on garden and mountains. Each flat has his modem for high-speed internet and wifi. A 32 inch flat screen TV provides you with 100 channels of entertainment.

The flat comes with cleaning service. We change your towels, sheets, soap, shampoo, kitchen towels and table cloth. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots and pans, kitchenware, cutlery, microwave, blender, coffee-maker, toaster and a big refrigerator.

In the common area you have a large garden of 250 m2, a cozy pergola where you can chat with other guests, 2 relaxing fountains, laundry area, and fully equipped bathroom for visitors. Just opposite the street we have a secured parking space for up to 10 vehicles.

We offer delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner if you don't want to cook yourself. We also offer taxi-service, shuttle service, spanish classes, etc...

We have two types of villas:

Getting around

Just download the Uber app on your phone and you can get anywhere around Antigua for just 15 GTQ (2 USD) !! You can also take the bus to the market or the villages around for just 2 GTQ (0.25 USD) a tuctuc for 15 GTQ (2 USD) and a taxi for 30 GTQ (4 USD) A trip to the capital is in general 150 GTQ (20 USD) with Uber and 300 GTQ (40 USD) with a taxi. You can get to the Pacific Ocean and Lake Atitlan for just 15 USD/person with a collective tourist shuttle.

Interaction with guest

Tom and Alejandra are a Belgian-Guatemalan couple that live on the property and they are always around for anything you need. They help you ordering take-away, book a shuttle to the airport, book a trip to the volcano, print your flight-tickets, call a doctor, and much more ! Jazmin, Cristy and Mari are the 3 cleaning ladies that leave your villa spotlessly clean. They mop the floor, do the dishes, change your linen, change your towels, change the garbage bags, provide you with extra toilet paper, soap and shampoo.... They can also take care of cooking and washing your clothes. It is not allowed to take them home ;-) We need them here ;-)

Response from the owner All furniture is brand new and less than 6 months old, with the exception of an old sofa, that we will definitely replace as soon as possible so that this apartment will have a brand new sofa like all the other apartments. Next time you will be back the new sofa will be waiting for you !!

How do damage deposits work?

If Tom (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
