Description

This unique property is situated in an elegant garden setting in what is considered to be one of the most exclusive neighborhoods, and shares the grounds with the historic main residence. In less than a 10 minute walk is the Cantegril Country Club, considered to be one of the best golf courses in Uruguay. The 5 star L’ Auberge Hotel is also just a short walk away. Continue for several more blocks to the pristine South Atlantic ocean, Playa Brava, to swim, surf or sunbathe. One can rent horses nearby to ride to the beach and elsewhere. A short 5 minute drive will take you to several gourmet restaurants and coffee shops and to Punta del Este town center where you’ll find the marina with it’s sea lions, fish markets, wonderful dining, shopping and casinos.

The guest house is spacious, light filled and has a charming ambiance, along with the convenience of wi-fi throughout. It is perfect for a couple, but the sofa could accommodate a third person. The living area, with a flat screen TV, and dining area open to the patio that overlooks the pool and flowering landscape, including an organic herb and vegetable garden. Enjoy the “parilla” the Uruguyan wood fired grill BBQ. The kitchen is fully equipped, with cookware, dish ware, glassware, cutlery, coffee maker, blender and toaster. There is a queen size bed and plenty of closet space. There is one full bath complete with bidet and shower. Although there is an air conditioner for both cooling and heating, a wood stove that also heats the floor can be used in the winter months. Firewood provided. Fresh linens and towels are available, but it has its own washing machine to use as well.

How do damage deposits work?
