Description
Overlooking the Bay of Tangier with a view panoramic on the port, the medina and Cape Malabata, Summer House literally crosses the ramparts Portuguese Tangier to stand by the ocean on three floors overhung of terrace. Its double exposure is quite exceptional for Tangier: it is both a House of the medina, and a House of the port. This double atmosphere gives it a special atmosphere, home town and port, civilised and carrier dream at a time.
This situation allows to go within 10 min walk in all major places of Tangier: Beach and its cornice, the European district (hotel Minzah, coffee of France), the Fondouk (market and traditional weaving) and the Socco, the nerve centre of the Medina.
In this House, the past is respected and this, maintained and restored with taste and finesse; volumes are spacious and intimate at once, and light filtered through the stained glass red, blue, green, yellow of the doors of the House, gives a distinctive atmosphere. The original zelliges who always dress a large part of the walls confirm its past is steeped in history.
