We are offering you our garden cottage as your retreat.

Freshwater, a quiet leafy suburb. a part of the beautiful Northern Beaches of Sydney and Peninsular.
Manly Beach is another of the Northern Beaches one of our most famous and safe surfing beaches along with Freshwater Beach, known as one of the safest surfing beaches in Sydney and home to the beginning of surf board riding in Australia.
Freshwater is approximately 10minutes by local bus from the centre of Manly and the famous Manly Ferry Wharf to Sydney CBD.

Situated in a quiet secluded garden setting.
Perfect as a retreat getaway, as the cottage and surrounds are designed to relax and rejuvenate.
Over looking our private swimming pool, available for your exercise or relaxing dip. The pool is 38 feet long and 4 lanes wide perfect for lap swimming.

This fully self contained garden bungalow allows the traveller to Sydney to self cater with chef quality gas cook top and twin electric ovens.
Local shopping is within walking distance providing a variety of local shops, butcher, baker, fruit and veg., liquor supply and chemist.

Other options for your entertainment are also close by with lawn bowling club, the famous Harbord Diggers Memorial club with dinning and entertainment available to you the traveller.
Courtesy bus service is available to take you and bring you back, all within 10 minutes of home.

Regular bus is just 2 blocks away, with buses running regularly on the half hour to Manly and the Sydney Ferry Service.
The same regular government bus is also available to take you to any of the local beaches, all within 10 minutes of the bungalow.
The walking option is also worth your consideration as it is not far and a very beautiful option to take.

The bungalow is large with full gourmet gas kitchen, plenty of work bench and serving area, full refrigerator, micro wave oven, coffee machine and fully equipped serving pottery and cutlery.

The bedroom is large with a queen size bed of hotel standard, full support for a restful nights sleep. Plenty of wardrobe storage options with full length mirrored doors.

The bathroom is large modern and well equipped with full shower, vanity sink and again storage.

The bungalow is very light and bright with ceiling to floor windows in main living room, kitchen and bedroom.

The eco cleaning methods are kind to all, with your well being in mind.

We are close to many beaches suitable for swimming, all beaches are maintained and patrolled by Surf Life Saving guards, this is also for the well being of all swimmers, always remember to swim between the flags.

Warringah Mall shopping centre is less than 10 minutes away with local bus services or again a short walk. The shopping centre is one of the largest in the Sydney, with plenty of variety for fashion, electrical, home furnishings, good food options and a lot lot more.

We would like to offer tourists a well maintained and comfortable accommodation option away from the hustle and bustle of the larger holiday centres, although still very close to all Manly and Sydney and the Northern Beaches peninsular has to offer.

We have travelled the world widely and know what fellow travellers are looking for and needing.
It would be our pleasure to help make your stay here in Sydney memorable for all the right reasons.

Our accommodation is available all year round, keeping in mind our winter is very mild.

“Pleasant Stay”

We found the cottage of Pam and Ross ideal for our purpose of wanting a location with good access to the Northern Beaches while still reasonably close to the centre of Sydney. We prefer to self cater and the extensive kitchen was great. Pam and Ross were excellent hosts and provided useful local information and recommendations for sightseeing. They were always on hand should we have required assistance but were never intrusive. Communications in making the booking were friendly and responsive. The property is in a quiet residential area and while there was no on-site parking, there is plenty of parking right in front of the property. While we had a vehicle, it was rarely used as public transport including the Manly ferry generally was a better option. We will look to stay with Pam and Ross next time we stay in Sydney.
