Description

This recently finished extremely private two or four bedroom raised bungalow adorns a panoramic ocean view, overlooking the beautiful Calvert Bay in the heart of historical Ferryland.

The house has a lower level with two finished bedrooms, a sitting room, a kitchen and a bathroom, this is considered a completely separate unit - however it can be bundled with the main level for a group rental for parties of 5 or more. The laundry room on the lower level is available if needed . The house has a stunning open concept and rests within the Irish Loop, only 1 hour south of St. John's airport, 50 minutes south of St. Johns itself and a half hour south of O'Brien's Whale and Bird Tours

We can rent the house out as a two bedroom sleeping 4 or a 4 bedroom sleeping 8, the second rate will be $230.00 per night. Please contact us if you are interested.

Please realize that we have a 3 night minimum.

While this hidden gem is the perfect family or couples get away, the locals are some of the friendliest people on the planet.

There is a taxi service from St. Johns to Ferryland:

You will arrive to find: Bread, milk, tea bags, eggs, coffee and sugar so that you don't have to rush to Foodland for your first breakfast, please feel free to use any spices or condiments that you find in the house. Foodland and the liquor express is within 5 minutes by car, as well as The Post Office, the Tea Room, the Dinner Theatre and a Gift store. If you feel like hiking, the East Coast Trail runs right underneath the property or you can buy a picnic and take the 30 minute hike out to the Ferryland lighthouse.

The house is equipped with two fully functioning kitchens with all appliances, coffee maker and toaster (yes we have a corkscrew), we also have a bbq on the back deck for your use. There is a washer and dryer in the basement which can be used if needed. We should add that it is 2 full bathroom with a walk-in shower and one powder room for the guest bedroom, so ideally it is set up for two Families of four or four couples who don't mind sharing a shower. We have one Queen size bed in three bedrooms, one double bed in the fourth bedroom and a blow up queen size mattress for extra guests. You will sleep very well In our extremely comfortable beds and enjoy our walk in shower in the ensuite. We have a good selection of DVD's board games and books for rainy days. You will love to sit and relax on the front Balcony and enjoy the Fabulous view of Calvert Bay and The Atlantic Ocean, you will see anything from Whales to Bald Eagles, Foxes, Moose and other Newfoundland wildlife.

The overall feel of the house is one of Peace and Tranquility which will restore your Soul and leave you refreshed and ready to take on the World again!
