KIISA

Chalet close to the top of the fell, near ski tracks and slopes. Beautiful views.

KISA'S TWO APARTMENTS HAVE NOW AURORA ROOMS WITH MOTORIZED BEDS FOR VIEWING THE NORTHERN LIGHTS.

Both apartments ha one bedroom with a motorized desk making the room an office.

Affordable, high quality cottage with two apartments, which can be combined to offer accommodation for 12+14 persons.

Southern slope of Kaunispää, 1.2 km by foot and 3 km by car from the center of Saariselkä

The Billiard and games room serves also as fully equipped meeting room (video projector, white board, paper board, transparency projector).

Kiisa was completed in March 2006 and extended/renovated in 2010 and 2022. It has beautiful scenery over Saariselkä to the opposite fells.

Kiisa A and B are suitable also for groups, when the total area is 260 m2 - total 11 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms and accommodation for up to 26 persons.

KIISA B:

Floor area 120 m2. livingroom-kitchen, 4 bedrooms, sauna, dressing room, shower room with 2 showers and toilet, and separate wc.

Two bedrooms with 140 cm wide double bed and own toilet/shower.

Two bedrooms with single beds, one room has a motorized office desk.

One bedroom has two motorized single beds and large roof window allowing viewing the Northern Lights from bed.

Loft (height 160 cm): with 4 single beds.

Getting around

Ski tracks pass Kiisa. To ski lifts one can slide down and return on skis from the top of te fell. Supermarket and restaurants are 1-1.5 km by foot and 2.5 km by car. Ivalo with bigger shops is 30 km by bus or car. Lapland museum Siida is 75 km away in Inari.

Interaction with guest

If the caretaker is not around the keys are found in the key box nest to the front door. The PIN of the box is given before arrival by email.

“Perfect chalet”

We had a wonderful New Year although the northern lights were visible only two times. The beds are very good, sauna is nice, and billird table is perfect. Charles
