A one of a kind experience to enjoy the true beauty of Jamaica. This is the perfect villa to enjoy a spectacular view and the sounds of the sea in Duncans Bay. Effie's is a private villa that has been completely finished with high end furnishings.
Effie's villa will pamper you and your loved ones with authentic Jamaican gourmet meals prepared by our amazing staff. They will also prepare any other meals you request or desire. Leroy is available as a driver along with Joe for all excursions and transfers. Spa services are available upon request.
The local fishermen and spear gun divers can deliver to your door daily fresh fish, lobster, squid, conch, and octopus. Local organic produce is also brought to you several times throughout the week or if you prefer you can go to the local market and browse.
The master bedroom has a king bed and a double bed with a luxurious bathroom.
The second bedroom has a king bed with a four piece ensuite.
The third bedroom has a queen bed and twin bed. the twin bed can be used as a nice airy reading/chilling nook. The bathroom has also been completely remodeled.
All rooms have awesome breezes and of course the serene sounds of nature, birds singing, with the gentle waves lapping. Louvers are throughout the entire villa to ensure this breeze is enjoyed!
All bedrooms have ceiling fans and air conditioning units.
Effies villa has been completely refurbished with nature and the environment integrated into the design. The villa has broad overhangs around the entire house to provide shade (keeping the villa cool and reducing the need for manmade cooling devices) and providing privacy. The property has been graded to provide proper drainage and eliminate standing water during and after the rains (reduction of insects, and pesky bugs) Effies uses all top quality materials and workmanship including electrical and plumbing upgrades. The villa has heat on demand and a hot water system so you will never have a cold shower.
The villa has been modified to provide an open concept and airy breezy with a feeling of nature throughout. Enjoy the views of the sea from virtually all areas of the home including the dining, kitchen, breakfast bar, living room and side patio dining area. There are numerous spots to enjoy on the property the back yard and garden provide privacy and shady spots to relax. The side yard patio and the gazebo also offer covered areas with gorgeous sea views.
The pool is private and exclusive for the guests staying on this property. Note that the property has multiple rental units. Complete private pool access can be arranged. Prices may vary pending pool needs.
