Description
The Rif Cooperative for Ecotourism is social profit non governmental organization founded in March , 22 2014 for the purpose of boosting and promoting the ecotourism and the human development and preserving the ecosystem in the region of Taounate.
In addition to our tourist headquater « La Rose du Rif» which nestled and hidden at the downhill of Sidi Masoud mountain Ourtzagh. we aim at creating several local ecolodges in different rif villages depending on different eco- activities we are doing. we plan to give rural women the chance to earn their living and participate in the process of sustainable development, integrate local artisans and craftsmen, and promote bio-agricultural products as well as cosmetic and medical plants into the process of human development.
We, in CRET, aim at building a bridge between the world and our region for the better and the best of all stakeholders. More importantly, protecting the rich and diverse Ecosystem of the region from degradation is in the heart of our vision and plans.
Youth Development: Prepare youth for their roles as adults, encourage youth to participate in their community development (life skills for a better future generation leaders and decision-makers.
Our approach:
Believing in the authenticity and uniqueness of the cooperative vision, we are keen on contributing to positive economic and social change in the underprivileged areas of Taounate, Taza and Alhouceima in total compliance with the guidelines of the Moroccan 2020 vision for tourism and the 2011 Moroccan constitution.
