Description

We are located in the beautiful development of Rancho del Oro, on the Western edge of Ajijic Village. It is only one and a half blocks from an excellent bus service, or a short 20 minute walk to the center of the Village.

Our Casita is almost 1,200 square feet with two large bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen/living room and a huge 630 sq. ft. covered terrace. One bedroom has two queen-size beds, two large closets, adjacent private bathroom and a sitting area with a wood fireplace. The second bedroom is identical, but with two double beds, with a sofa bed and an optional inflatable bed. A large swimming pool and a charcoal BBQ grill are shared with Owners and are available for the guests' use. The covered one-car garage, accessed by an electronic gate, adjoins the Casita. On-street parking is also permitted.

The weather is almost perfect every day, with some rain expected from May through September. Fortunately, it rains mainly by night, so that golfing, hiking, bird-watching, horseback riding and sight-seeing are rarely affected. We have found that some guests can almost pay for their vacation by taking advantage of the excellent, and relatively inexpensive, medical and dental facilities which are available locally. For the less adventurous, there are numerous restaurants available to cater for most tastes at very reasonable prices, interesting shopping, art galleries, a street market on Wednesdays, or just people-watching at the village Plaza to while away the time. For the even more laid-back, there is always the option to lounge by the pool and experiment with making the perfect margarita, or just submerge your body in a double-sized hammock on the terrace with a good book. We have completely rebuilt the 'palapa', which now has a wet bar and adjacent bathroom. It is ideal for watching our fantastic sunsets or entertaining your new-found friends.
