Description

This is a lovely countryhome on 1 acre of manicured garden, perfect for people who love nature and bird watching. It is a very central location for the island; close enough to the main cities Castries and Vieux Fort and to all the touristic attractions. A very relaxing quiet place to come back to after the hectic adventures. We can arrange for your trips to all the touristic attractions around the island. We have a marvelous guide Melvin who can take you to wonderful hikes.The Mon Repos area is a quiet neighborhood where many local farmers reside.

The house is next to a small hotel and restaurant which allows guest limited ( 1 hour) access to their pool if each guest has a meal.

Special hiking tours can be arranged which are guided by a local self taught botanist Melvin and are the highlight of the guests experience visiting this property.

The house is 2000 sqft and is composed of 5 bedrooms of which 4 are very spacious and 1 smaller room; all of them with their individual shower and toilet. Two of the bedrooms have access to the main Balcony with a majestic view of the garden and the atlantic ocean, the 2 others have their own private Balcony. with garden view. Each bedroom has its private hammock that can be hung on its respective balcony.

There is a well equipped big kitchen. Note that for stays over 1 week utilities are not included( gas, electricity and water).

Guests have access to the whole property.

No visitors are allowed on property unless they are registered guests.

Willbertha who manages this property will be available for anything you need during your stay. She will come and clean the house twice a week; that is included in your rental.

We are located in the tropics so please make sure to bring some long pants, socks and long sleeve shirts for mosquito time( at dawn and dusk) and for the cool evenings between december and april.

The house is in the middle of Nature with lots of birds flying around the flowers and the fruit baring trees on the property; literally steps away from the house is the fox groove Inn where you can have either breakfast($10), lunch or dinner ($30) which makes you eligible to use their pool until we get our private pool( hopefully by february).

There is public transportation( mini buses) from the main road which is a pleasant short 5mn walk from the house. You can manage without a car as the village of Mon Repos where you can get all the essentials is 15mn walk from the house.

But we recommend to hire a car during your stay as all the touristic attractions are spread all around the island; that will give you more freedom to enjoy your stay to the fullest. If you rather not drive, Willbertha will arrange private transport for you when ever needed.

Wilbertha my property manager will take good care of you; she will welcome you and explain everything about the house and the area. She lives a few minutes from the house and will assist you in anything you need. She will come and clean the house twice a week during your stay. My husband and i might be staying in the apartment right below you; and if we are we will gladly help you out manage your stay and make the best of your holiday.
