Enjoy the peaceful, simple, good life at the beach in this house on the beautiful tropical island of Ko Samui, Thailand. This 538 square foot one-bedroom home has a living room, equipped KITCHEN (most "bungalows" have no kitchen) and bathroom and is just a 45 second walk to the serene, peaceful, warm ocean and sandy beach. All of this accommodation is surrounded by a gorgeously green garden with breezy Coconuts, Bamboo, Palms, and Banana trees nearby the turquoise ocean with views of fabulous sunsets and neighboring isles.
If you're considering other houses/bungalows, be aware that most others do not have a kitchen or a partial sea-view, but this house has both!
If you're looking to get away from it all (yet still have high-speed Internet and short walking distance to the beach, restaurants and convenience stores), this is the perfect place for you.

Enjoy the natural garden from the covered patio/deck, plus plenty of off-street parking space, fully functional kitchen with brand new gas burner, small refrigerator / freezer, new microwave, new toaster-oven, new serving ware and cookware. All this is just a 1 hour airplane flight from Bangkok; there are also direct flights to Koh Samui from Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong. Long term discounted rates for bookings of more than 1 month are available.
The house has room to sleep up to 4 people. 2 people on the 1 king-size bed (with a brand new mattress pad on top), plus 1 to 2 more persons on the optional inflatable air mattresses (I've tried this myself, and it is very comfortable!) -- arrangements should be made in advance if you want one or both air mattresses. There is also a wardrobe, makeup table, desk, and an covered patio/deck.
There is a convenience store nearby as well as several restaurants within walking distance, and one even delivers Western and Thai food to you door. This house is located just 10 minutes from either the towns of Maenam and Nathon which have numerous shops, restaurants, night life, and a wonderful, friendly culture. There is public transportation available on the road just 30 seconds walk from the house. Samui also has many other diverse areas of interest including a thriving shopping area in Bophut and night spots in Chaweng, SCUBA, snorkeling, waterfalls, hiking trails, zip lines, outdoor activities, tree covered mountains for hiking, golf, adventure entertainment, and many other activities.
This is a self-catering house, though laundry is nearby; cleaning and ironing is for 50 Thai baht per Kg at the shop on the street less than 150 meters from the house or pickup/drop off service for 60 baht per Kg. Optional maid/cleaning service is available for 600 baht per time. Household water and WiFi Internet are included. Electricity is billed as per actual usage at 7 baht per Kw/hr = ~ 24 cents per Kw / hr. Typically, this works out to about $1 USD to about $2 USD (two US dollars) per day depending on your usage of the air conditioner, hot shower, hair dryers, and other high power electric appliances.
When you rent this house, you have the private use of the whole place; we stay elsewhere while you enjoy the privacy of your own holiday home. I will provide my own personal mobile number and email contact info as well as that of our friendly English-speaking house manager who lives very close by.
