Description
"Somerset House" is a Self Catering accommodation situated about 30meters off the main Kombo Coastal Road in Gunjur, Kombo South, Western Region, The Gambia. The Accommodation is a comfortable 3 bedroom house that can accommodate up to 8 guests.The house is connected to the National Grid Electricity, with a prepaid meter to top up electricity.
The accommodation is just a ten minutes taxi ride to the sandy and relaxing Gunjur Beach, and only 40 minutes drive from the Banjul International Airport, the Senegambia tourist strip and the surrounding urban settlements of Serekunda, Bakau, and just 20 minutes drive to Brikama which is the biggest settlement in the Western Coast Region of The Gambia.
The Somerset House also benefits from running water and cold/hot water shower facility in the bathrooms as well as flush-able toilets, and a well looked after front garden for evening relaxation. The Kitchen of a European standard with Washing Machine, Electric cooker, Microwave, Kettle and a Fridge/Freezer.
The location of the property means that guests who may be interested in bird watching could just take a few minutes walk towards the beach as there are varieties of Gambian birds that can be easily seen.
Sandale Mini Market is also about 250 meters away from a from Somerset House where everyday groceries and food items could be purchased.
