Description
River Valley Residence is a family-run rental home in Kandy in Sri Lanka. It is a convenient 15-20 minute drive from the Kandy city centre.
Surrounded by greenery and mountains, River Valley Residence is a great getaway from the chaos of the city. The scenic Mahaweli River is a short 3-minute walk away from the residence.
We have 3 fully furnished bedrooms (one Queen room and two Twin rooms) and 1 apartment to offer with basic amenities such as linen, mosquito nets, attached bathrooms, hot water showers and free Wi-Fi. Dining/ lounge area and parking facilities are also available. A complimentary Sri Lankan breakfast is included in the room rate.
Extra beds and self-service laundry facilities are available at an additional fee.
Children below the age of 12 years may stay with parents at no extra cost, provided no extra beds are used.
All bedrooms are located on the ground level and are therefore is elderly-friendly.
As we are a small establishment, we do not provide special accommodation for drivers. However, we can provide recommendations for driver accommodation nearby.
Whether you are looking for a cultural experience or a spiritual one, we are happy to welcome travelers from all over the world!

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Dhanushri (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
