Description
Luxuriously equipped new apartment in the exclusive Vila Verde Resort, secure, and overlooking beautiful gardens and pool, supermarket nearby. There is a flat screen TV, a DVD player, a washing machine, a full size fridge freezer, a spacious balcony, and a cleaning service available at a fee at the end of your stay. Guest services nearby to arrange airport transfers, taxis, car hire, trips and excursions, travel to neighbouring islands.
The standard of some of the local accommodation is very basic and leaves a lot to be desired. However, Vila Verde has been built to the more exacting European standards and so not only are the finish and furnishings far superior to elsewhere, but there are sprinklers, fire alarms, safety rails where needed, etc. The resort is ideally placed close to Santa Maria, but also in a peaceful location, therefore offering the best of both world!

“Villa Verde”
Basic apartment in a quiet complex. Apartment could have done with a few touches like 2 pillows each as the ones we had each were very flat. Nothing to use on arrival like salt, pepper, washing up liquid x the shop on the complex is very basic and expensive and shuts at 18.30. Emmanuelle was attentive and arrived the next day to drop off a kettle as there wasn't 1 and responded to emails. Shuttle bus into Santa Maria was often full and beware no 1 queues so be there early and forget the first come basis. There was a few power cuts while there one lasting about 7 hours so beware as apartment is on 2nd floor so no lift. If you're looking for a peaceful holiday away from it all villa Verde is a great place with well maintained pools and surrounding areas.
