Description

A nice apartment in Marčana, Istria (Istra), Croatia. Suitable for 4 persons (2 sleeps in bedroom - bed, 2 children or 1 adult sleeps in living room - unfolding sofa)

Apartment I'm renting is a part of private house with separate entrance on first floor up the stairs. The apartment has one bedroom with 160x200cm size bed, bathroom, living room with sofa where 2 people can sleep, functional kitchen, and a balcony with table and chairs. The air-conditioned living room with SMART/Sat TV is spacious - open plan to the kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is equipped with electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and fridge with a freezer. Pets are welcome, but please check the conditions first. It is a non-smoker (inside) apartment. Great for couples. One additional bed can be provided if necessary. Plenty of free parking space just across the street always available.

Distance from the Sea is 9km, distance from city Pula is 13km. Only 10 minutes from Pula airport by car. Transport can be arranged to airport (we can recommend a low price local transfer service on demand).

Neighborhood is a suburb of a town - houses in a row, yet close to the store (400 meters). Quiet surroundings. The town itself has about 1000 inhabitants.

Marčana is a little town with great position close to the airport of Pula. The property is 10 minutes drive away from the airport and 15 minutes drive away from the center of Pula. 10 minutes walk away from the property is the centre with small shops, bars, post office, ATM machine. Also, for a very good restaurant you don't have to drive long – restaurant Luna is only 5 minutes drive away from the property as well as restaurant Vesna whose owners produce delicious Istrian cheese.

You can walk around in nature - there are many trails trough wood, ride a bike or go horse riding - few kilometers away is a horse ranch.

To explore the Istrian peninsula a beginning of the motorway is 10 minutes drive away. From here you can easily reach all beautiful towns in Istria within 20-40 minutes drive. The nearest attractions to the villa are Pula old center with beautiful Roman remains and National park Brijuni, 25 minutes drive away. You need to book in advance a boat trip for an organized tour to this beautiful island where peacocks and wild animals roam freely in the rich nature.

The nearest beach to the property is in Duga Uvala, 15 minutes drive away, or you can visit one of the beautiful beaches in Pula – 20 minutes drive away. Pula has very good gastronomic scene and it abounds with excellent restaurants both in the very center and surrounding areas.

Nearby seacoast is not overpopulated in Summer, there are many beaches with pebbles, rocks, and a lot of hidden (hard to get) little bays. There's no official pet beaches, but there's plenty of space to go swimming with dog. The sea is clean, and warm in Summer months.

Peninsula Istria (Istra) is great place to discover with old and small cities on hills, many happenings in Summer and beautiful nature. Vine and gourmet lovers will be pleased with local offer.
