Description

This NEW apartment is situated in the grounds of a private cottage on its own land slightly higher than the cottage taking advantage of the wonderful sea views and the mountains above Puerto Calero. There is just a field between the sea and this property and just a field between the property and the start of Puerto Calero. One can fish from the rocks below and even swim from there if you are adventurous. The apartment has its own terrace with sunbeds and small table and 2 chairs. The interior of the apartment consists of a large living room with a fully equipped kitchen., including full oven, ceramic hob etc. There is a 3 seater sofa plus another easy chair. There is a dresser and a tv unit with tv.

There is a separate dining area with sliding windows that face the sea.

The bedroom has a double bed with fitted bed head containing bookshelves, shelf etc. There is a wardrobe and chest of drawers. The Wet Room is off the bedroom in which there is also a washing machine.

Everything in the apartment is new as is the apartment itself. It

is about 12 minutes walk from the lovely Puerto Calero Marina with its good restaurants and shops, including a small supermarket. There are also fishing trips, a water taxi to Puerto del Carmen (the main tourist resort), and a small tourist market Tuesdays and Fridays. If you like walking just walk across the field in front of you and there is a footpath where you can walk for miles in either direction just above the sea .

“Perfect with amazing sea views”

Location is lovely. Wonderful marina and excellent restaurants. Accommodation ideal as a base for exploring the island and going for long costal walks.

Response from the owner This couple were walkers and enjoyed walking along the coastal path both to Puerto de Carmen and in the opposite direction to Puerto Calero and then on to Playa Quemada. I enjoyed having them.

“Wonderful location and a lovely host.”

The one-bed apartment with full kitchen and separate loo and wetroom is in a fab location with panoramic sea views and just a 2-minute walk to a well used shale cliff path which connects the 'old-town' of Puerto Del Carmen (40 mins walk from the apartment) with upmarket Puerto Calero (10 mins walk) and the charming fishing village of Quemada (40 mins walk). It's secluded and peaceful yet just 50 metres from a tarmaced road, with a 2 minute drive to Calero and 5 mins to Pto. Del Carmen. The apartment is totally self contained, with a private sunbathing patio and sits virtually on the roof of owner Bonnie's villa below. There's tranquillity day and night with a welcome cooling breeze wafting through the apartment. Private parking and 10-minutes' drive away is a brilliant Euro Spar supermarket used by the locals and with a fresh fish counter with good sized sea bass at 3-4 euros! Owner Bonnie, who moved from Kent to Lanzarote some 30 years ago is warm, friendly and a fount of local knowledge. We will return!

Response from the owner Lanzarote is becoming ´the`place for walkers and cyclists There are several well defined coastal paths now and bicycle lanes have been added to the main tourist resort Puerto del Carmen and more are being added all the time elsewhere. Lovely couple. I enjoyed their company at a barbecue.
