LIEBELT HOUSE
We are located within easy distance to everything you require in the Adelaide Hills whilst being far enough away that you will have a private stay. Liebelt House was built in 1855 and provides guests with a trip down memory lane with original antique furniture but with the modern conveniences of today. Located on the same property as Platform 1 Heritage Farm Railway, Liebelt House guests have access to the farm animals, railway memorabilia and are treated to a train ride through the farm yard and out into the open paddock. Provisions for full cooked country breakfast is provided for you to prepare at your leisure. With eggs freshly collected from our chickens, homemade jam and fresh local fruit, you will ready for a day of sightseeing around this beautiful part of South Australia. Families with children are very welcome and Liebelt House is an ideal family stay with children being well provided for. Sit back and relax on the rocking chair under the verandah, feed the chickens and enjoy a visit from the resident farm cat 'Ginger".

All linen is provided including bathrobes. The kitchen has all cooking facilities and provisions for full cooked country breakfasts are provided for you to prepare at your leisure. The lounge has open fireplace, piano and original family furniture. There is electrical heating and cooling throughout the house and thee is also laundry facilities and a bbq for guests use. Set on 69 acres of farming land, Liebelt House overlooks the farmyard and guests have access to the animals and Platform 1 Heritage Farm Railway.
Directions
From Littlehampton, turn left at the roundabout (if coming from Mt Barker) on to Junction Road which follows through to Balhannah. We are 1.5 km on the right. Look for the Liebelt House/Platform 1 Heritage Farm Railway signs.

“Divine little hideaway”
