Description

If you’ve been yearning for a tropical, secluded getaway with lots of flora, fruit and friendly animals, you’ve stumbled upon it! We are a couple originally from Texas, who has made our dream home here in the Caribbean with our own hands. We had so much fun creating it, that we decided to do it again—this time in the form of a guesthouse for friends and fellow travelers alike. Boasting a wooded vaulted ceiling, an east-facing front patio for a cooling breeze, beautiful sunrise, king bed nestled among local art, and an outdoor shower amongst the palms, paradise awaits you.

We are located in Major Hill, overlooking beautiful Bottle Creek and are but a few hundred steps away from the waters edge, fit for swimming, kayaking and fishing. We have 4 friendly dogs that roam our property, and they will be happy to escort you to the swimming hole. We have egg-laying chickens, twittering cockatiels and three macaws that just may remember your name. Many of our plants are fruit bearing (coconuts, peppers, tomatoes, papayas) and some of them produce beautiful, fragrant flowers. More specifics of the guesthouse include a screened porch, ceiling fan, A/C, unlimited Wi-Fi, and a fire TV. Two cruiser type bicycles, microwave, coffee pot, two burner hot plate, small fridge, crock pot, toaster and an outdoor gas grill are here for you to use.

While some visitors are happy to make do with a bare-bones approach to their stay, we do offer clothes laundering (hung up on the line to dry) and maid service for an additional fee. We can arrange fishing, diving or snorkel tours and kayak or Stand-up Paddle board rentals.

When you arrive to North Caicos via the ferry (water taxi), we will arrange transportation (either taxi or rental car) to our place.

Regardless of if you choose to make your trip to North Caicos full of adventure or full of leisure, we are sure you will leave relaxed, inspired and a little tanner than when you came.

Getting around

A rental car is recommended to visit the different beaches, reastaurants, grocery stores and visit Middle Caicos. A car is needed to thoroughly explore both islands. We do have two complementary bicycles for you to use if you don't want to rent a car every day. There is a beautiful beach, a grocery store, liquor store and restaurants within biking distance.

How do damage deposits work?

If Patricia (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
