There is a special place in the Carpathians - the Tarcau Valley and here you can find the perfect Getaway Retreat called 'Atelierul Zanei - Casa de oaspeti & Galerie de arta' (The Fairy's GuestHouse & VintageArt Gallery). It's ..different in the best possible way, from anything you can book in this area. The house is used on occasions for VintageArt Restoration Workshops and when it's vacant, you can book it and have the entire GuestHouse for yourself. And because we value our guest's privacy, we do not book partially, the price shown is for the entire property: front yard, backyard and the villa (3 bedroom, 2 living areas, 3 bathroom and a large fully equipped kitchen). The manufactured objects made by the lovely Mr. Dana and her fairies, lay all around the house leaving you speechless. The best part of the VintageArt Gallery is that you can buy or even make your own VintageArt to take back home.
...Now, let's step outside for a sec...first of all the area is so beautiful and quiet.. You are literally in another world, surrounded by mountains and you have a small mountain river you can enjoy within 100m -it has a small sandy beach where you can lay in the sun, or fish some trout if you enjoy fishing. You can also visit some very nice secluded small monasteries or you can plan a trip to see the surroundings. You have the most beautiful mountain pass in the Carpathians - Bicaz Canion; or you can go to Lake Bicaz (it's huge - 40 km long) and eat on the docs or buy a ticket on the boat that goes all the way to the other side of the lake, giving you the most astounding view of the surrounding mountains.
If you just want to sit in the backyard and breath the mountain air..you can do that too, but be warned, the air in this region is so rich in oxygen that you can get high on it. Rest assured, anything you want to do that involves nature, fun and mountains...you can do it.
