Description
Situated on the beautiful matemwe beach on the north east coast of zanzibar the property boasts perfect views of the Indian Ocean and the coral reefs surrounding Mnemba Island. This is a 4 bedroomed bungalow with a beachside terrace. It can comfortably sleep 8 people and there is an option to rent a standalone room built on the top floor with its own ensuite and access if extra space is required. There is also another property on the compound a 1 bedrromed villa also available to rent separately.NB both properties will have access to front and back gates to property. Both villas have there own garden spaces.
A stay here is a treasure trove of sensory delights offering you an escape into serenity which we are certain will send you and your guests home with great memories. For those looking for a bit more action this is a spectacular coastline for diving , snorkeling , canoeing, surfing and reef and beach walks. The beach is the longest in in Zanzibar and boasts several boutique hotels and bars within walking distance of the villa.
We can arrange a car / driver who will happily pick you up from the airport and back and with whom you can arrange site-seeing trips. The driver can also take you to the supermarkets in Stonetown and to local places where you buy fruit and vegetables and provisions. You will pay the driver directly for this. Costs are normally $40-50 US$ per day.
We also provide cleaners that will can come everyday or every other, depending on what you want to do basic cleaning of house / bedroom / toilets. They will not however clean-up kitchen / dishes/ cook. Cost of this is 10$ day to be paid directly to the staff at the start of the holiday. Please let us know in advance what you require.

We do have arrangements with nearby hotels to use there pools and although the tides do mean swimming is not possible at certain times the area does present a magical changing landscape with opportunities to walk to the reef at low tide. Re the mustiness We will get our staff at the house to make sure we air the house more , it's a problem for most beachside houses. We recently replaced all windows to help with airing the house also.
