WORK AT EDGECLIFFE APARTMENTS

Work commenced late 2021 and due to delays has carried over into the new year as per below:

Work is well underway on the western wall (carpark side). The South Western corner of the building was significantly impacted and has under gone some major repairs and reinforcement.  At present scaffolding is across only the southern half of the western wall (above the garage door) – access to the garage is NOT affected. From time to time BOSS may close off the driveway for brief periods to clear any debris.

There is a small amount of work to also be completed on the roof. It is expected all work will be completed and scaffolding removed by the end of January.

The contractors are conscious of guests and are doing their best to minimise disruptions whenever possible.

 

This 2nd floor apartment has outstanding panoramic views with the balcony overlooking the ocean to Moreton Island. You can also look south to North Bribie Island and Pumicestone Passage. The amazing location means you can take a short walk to Kings Beach, or walk to the other way to Happy Valley and Bulcock Beach. There are no roads to cross to get to the beaches. If you prefer to take a dip without the waves, there is a sparkling pool which overlooks the ocean.

 

The apartment has recently been refurbished to incorporate tasteful artwork as well as new kitchen equipment, beds and bedding. The main bedroom has a Queen size bed and the 2nd bedroom has a low-rise bunk bed with trundle allowing the apartment to sleep a total of 5 people. Both bedrooms have ocean views.

 

LINEN NOT INCLUDED. This property comes supplied with pillows and blankets or doonas.  Linen (sheets, bath towels, pillowcases, tea towels, bath mats and hand towels) is not included in the price.  However, guests can hire a linen pack directly from us which includes the above linen items, and it will be delivered to the property on the day of your arrival.  Simply contact us prior to arrival to organise linen hire. 

 

The bathroom has a shower and there is a separate toilet. You will also find other essentials such as a family-sized washing machine, clothes dryer, iron and ironing board.

 

There is secure parking underneath which can accommodate an average size vehicle. Due to the age of the building it is not suitable for high top or long wheel base vehicles as it has a maximum headroom of 1.8 metres and the driveway is very steep. You can take the lift from the underground car park or ground entrance to your apartment.

 

The lounge and master bedroom have ceiling fans and the second bedroom has a portable fan.

 

For the peace and enjoyment of all visitors to Edgecliffe, the apartment has a no party, no smoking policy and pets are not allowed.
