Description
The cabin is situated idyllic and sunny at the foot of the Andersnatten (733m) within sight (150m) of the lake Andersnattjenn. Nearby there are many lakes for fishing and the area is perfect for gathering berries and mushrooms. The accommodation is suitable for couples, solo travelers as well as families with children.
The cozy cabin (60m2), which can be used all year round, consists of a large living room with kitchen, 3 bedrooms, bathroom and corridor. The house is equipped for 6 adults. With children can up to 8 people use the cabin. The living room has a couch corner (sofabed, 2 persons) and dining table as well as a kitchen line. The small kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals and is equipped with a gas cooker and a sink (no running water). A gas-operated refrigerator is located in the storage room.
The bathroom has a sink (no running water), a simple cottageshower and an environmental toilet from the company Separett (villa).
The beds are divided as follows.
Bedroom 1: double bed (150cm), bedroom 2: family koye (lower bed: 1,20m, upper bed: 0,7m), Bedroom 3: family koye (lower bed 1.20m, upper bed: 0.7m). The cabin has a 12V electrical system which is mainly used for lighting, 220V equipment can not be connected but charging of mobile devices like cell phones or tablets is possible. The heating is provided by a chimney, a stove and a paraffin oven in the living room and a gas oven in the bathroom. Firewood is included in the price.
There is no running water in the cabin. The water has to be brought by from a spring with hand pump, which is about 20m away from the cabin.
In front of the cabin is a large sun terrace with seating.
We are speaking Norwegian, English and German.
Because we are living about 1 hour away from the cabin it will seldom be possible for me to receive the guests personally. The key for the cabin is in a key safe. I will send the code before arrival. Otherwise, can you always reach me by phone / SMS.
The cabin can be rented all year round. The minimum stay is 2 nights. Between 17.06.2017 and 25.08.2017 the cabin can only be rented by the week. Arrival and departure day is Saturday.
In the key safe, you will also find the key for the gate to drive directly (40m) to the cabin by car.
The way from the main road to the cabin is subject to a charge (Nkr 60 per use, only cash payment). Our guests have to pay for this only on arrival. In the cabin you will find an annual pass, which can be carried during the stay in the car.
The cabin is sunny situated on a small ridge at Andersnattjenn in Nedre Eggedal. In the surroundings there are other cabins with good distance between the cabins. Nearby are many fishing lakes and the area is perfect for picking berries and mushrooms. There are several hiking trails in the area. The hike to the Andersnatten is recommended. There you have a magnificent view of the Norefjell in the east, the Jonsknuten near Kongsberg and the Gaustatoppen in the west.
The cottage is only accessible by car.
