Description
Beautifully located in the Campo between the white villages of Torrox Pueblo and Competa. An idyllic place for hiking, golfing, horseback riding, painting or chilling. 12 minutes from the coast. The casita linda (lovely cottage) is part of a beautiful Cortijo, which features a 12,000 m² big private land and olive groves, orange, avocado and mango trees. It has its own vineyard and a magnificent view of the mountains of Sierra Tejida and panoramic views south to the Mediterranean and North Africa. The casita linda shares a large terrace and a swimming pool with the main house. The property is located equidistant between Torrox Pueblo and Competa. A short, steep concrete road leads to Casita Linda. It has its own parking and private access. This modern studio features free Wi-Fi, sound system and iPod dock. The device consists of an open living room, brand new kitchen with washing machine and dining area, double bed with wardrobe and drawers, separate shower and toilet. Outdoor seating and dining area with barbecue. A gate leads to the main house with a shared terrace and a pool area that offers views to the south over the valley to the sea. The breathtaking views from every angle, makes it an idyllic place from which both the surrounding landscape, the white villages and the Sierra Tejida mountains can be explored, it is pure tranquility. Perfect for cycling, horseback riding, hiking, mountain climbing or just sit and enjoy the clear clean air and the glorious sunshine with a good book. The nearest shops are 7.5 km in both directions to Competa or Torrox Pueblo. There you can drink on the Piazza and some tapas after the shopping is done. For larger supermarkets you have only to Torrox Pueblo past to Torrox Costa to the coast, where there are a variety of shops of all sizes, many bars and local and international restaurants. Head east along the coast road is the pretty tourist town of Nerja with all its attractions, a must on the Balcon de Europa to sit, have a coffee, or a Tinto de Verano or eat beer and tapas and watch only the people! There are 3 golf courses, Baviera near Velez Malaga, near Los Moriscos Solebrena and Anoreta near Rincon de la Victoria. The coast of Torrox to Motril is probably the most beautiful on the eastern Costa del Sol, with steep cliffs down to deserted beaches and stunning views along the coast. The area is relatively untouched, the major centers like Torrox, Nerja, Almuñeca and Solebrena offer all watersport facilities which you desire. The area is famous for its Merenderos (beach bars, the local Spanish cuisine served), so swim, enjoy the sun, followed by a good meal and a chilled bottle of wine to the day to run out! In less than two hours drive you are in the mountains of the Sierra Nevada, where you can ride in the winter skiing, or visit the Alhambra in Granada. Or the cathedral city of Seville, our state capital. The nearest airport is Malaga, an hour's drive on the motorway.
