Villa Alcalde is a luxury 7 bedroom / 8 bathroom, holiday villa. It is situated in a peaceful setting next to the central town of Macher, Lanzarote.

Benefiting from an elevated position, Villa Alcalde features uninterrupted views. Gaze out across the great Atlantic Ocean, or towards the sun setting behind the natural volcanoes of the national park. Or if you prefer there is the distant lights of Puerto Colero and Arrecife. From Villa Alcalde you will feel like this magical island is all yours. This was once the house of the former Mayor of Tias and his preferred villa for gatherings and parties.

Now privately owned, Villa Alclade has been lovingly restored and modernised for the luxury travel sector. Sitting within a huge 1,200m walled plot this holiday villa is positioned as one of the finest in Lanzarote.

This villa’s landscaped grounds include a Cesar Manrique inspired sunken swimming pool. This heated outdoor pool is one of the finest and largest residential pools in Lanzarote. There is a raised hot-tub, games area, huge stone fire-pit/bbq and 2nd kitchen outdoors.

Getting around

We recommend car hire as it is very cheap on this island. However from the airport to Villa Alcalde is approx €10 by taxi. The main tourist hub and beaches of Puerto del Carmen are reachable by local bus service or approx €10 by taxi.

Interaction with guest

We are available 24/7 to assist you. However, during your stay, our house is your house, so we do not invade your space. We visit you on announcement if that suits you. You can reach us by phone/WhatsApp/email and we respond without delay. We provide assistance for arranging any special requests and we live on the island, we know it very well, so we can give good advise and support on any 'wants' you have. From mindfulness sessions for kids, private yoga coach, to 7-course banquet and paragliding, you name it, we have probably arranged it for guests!!!

It is a quiet and tranquil area. Although it is a huge walled plot we still request guests are respectful and keep noise to a minimum after 10pm
