Baby Bear’s Room is a black and white delight, complete with a comfy queen sized bed and luxuriant bedding at Goldilocks Bed & Breakfast in Kodiak Alaska. A large dresser and closet are here if you are the type of traveler that likes to unpack all your traveling treasures instead of just living out of your suitcase. A 40” flat screen TV allows you to hide away in your own room and catch up on what happened in the outside world while you were out exploring Kodiak island all day.

Goldilocks Bed & Breakfast sits on 1/2 acre surrounded by lush forest and salmonberry bushes. It offers 2 master suites each with private baths and 2 bedrooms that share a bath and of course breakfast too. Book one room or all four in this luxurious bed and breakfast. It is the perfect place to kick back and relax after a long day enjoying all that Kodiak has to offer. (Fishing, hiking, tide pooling, whale watching and loads more)

Only a short walk from the Goldilocks front door will lead you to Spruce Cape hiking trail which ends at a scenic point offering fabulous ocean views and often a bit of whale watching too.

Please note: Bedroom is on second floor accessible only by stairs. It shares a bathroom with the Mama Bear room.

Getting around

Kodiak is a small island with much to see. A rental car is a must in my eyes to allow one the freedom to see all it has to offer. Taxis are available and some concessions will pick clients up and deliver them back. There are no buses or other sources of public transportation. Give me a call for rental car recommendations.

Interaction with guest

Myself, (Bronwyn) and my dog (Daphne) will greet you at check in and give you the tour of the property as well as the door code so you may come and go at your leisure. Daphne and I then give you your space and retire to our private area, but be assured I am available 24/7 for any questions or other needs you may have. Breakfast is served each morning by me where I usually chat with guests and share a little about Kodiak. A common great room complete with TV, games and lounging area as well as outdoor spaces for guest use.
