Description

Takamaka is the pride of our fleet, this luxury houseboat is named after the ever green tree in the Seychelles. The Lake is synonymous with house-boating, offering leisurely excursions filled with sun-drenched days and star-studded nights. Full, sumptuous and stylish catering coupled with a well-stocked bar ensure complete guest satisfaction. A splash pool offers safe and welcome relief from the heat.

A tender boat accompanies each excursion offering great fishing and exploratory options. Fishing tackle and bait can be pre-arranged. Takamaka houseboat is moored at Lake Kariba Inns harbour on the Lake Kariba in Siavonga. It has four twin berth cabins that sleeps eight.

It has two bathrooms with showers, hot water, soap and towels. The kitchen is stocked with all cooking utensils, gas hob-ovens and fridge.

The houseboat is $700.00. This is a dry rate. Fuel will be calculated separately at the end of your trip. Staff on board includes the captain and a deck hand. Also included on board is linen, swim towels, cutlery. A bar stocked with glasses and cooler boxes for keeping your drinks cold and swim cage off the back of the boat.

We can provide worms with rods for the bream fishing at $5 per day. Traces and spinners can be purchased for tigers fishing from the hotel reception on arrival. We also have big hooks and baits for cat fishing that is done at night, these fish grow over 50kg and are great spot fishing for catch and release.

Boat departure time is 14:00, no later than 16:00, and docking time is 10:00am.
