Condo, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (sleeps 4) This condo is a winner of TripAdvisor's Certificate of Excellence for 2017, 2018 and 2019.
'The Hideaway' is located on the third floor of Building A at Savannah Beach and Racquet Club, a secure gated complex on the quiet North Beach. The views of the beach from this condo are fantastic yet give the feeling of seclusion in it's corner nook. Only steps from the sparkling pools and one of the two private walkways to the beach at Savannah Beach & Racquet Club. There are also two tennis courts and a Pickle Ball court. This condo is just blocks away from the Historic Tybee Lighthouse and a short drive East on Butler Ave to restaurants and shops as well as the Tybee Pier. Located two blocks from The Tybee Wedding Chapel (used in the movie The Last Song), it's a great place to stay for a destination wedding.
Recently completely remodeled, this owner continues to make upgrades in the condo, giving it a feel of a home away from home. There are special touches added to make your beach vacation a memorable one. This condo is great for couples or for girls getaway weekends. However, this condo IS NOT SUITABLE OR SET UP FOR CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 12. There is a queen bed in the bedroom, a queen sleeper sofa in the living area and two captains bunks in the hallway to ensure a good night's rest after a long day by the pool or at the beach. Everything you will need for that day on the beach is provided for you, including beach chairs, an umbrella, and beach towels.
The kitchen features a full-size fridge, microwave and an electric range, plus extras such as a toaster, coffee maker, crock pot, waffle iron and blender. You will find the cupboards are fully stocked with dinnerware, cookware and even Tupperware (to keep food fresh). There is a breakfast bar that seats three or you may want to sit out on the balcony at the bistro table to watch the cargo ships and shrimp boats as they head out to sea. Often you will catch a glimpse of the dolphins as they play in the surf.
If you need some down time inside, the "Smart" TV, allows you to watch cable, DVDs or if you are subscriber Netflix, Amazon or Hulu in the living room. The owner provides a wide selection DVDs. The TV in the bedroom is set-up for DVDs only. You will find books by local authors as well as other Southern writers. There is also a portable CD player for your musical enjoyment.
So set your watch on 'Tybee Time', come relax, refresh and enjoy this island just 20 minutes East of Savannah, Ga voted one of Health Magazine's 'Most Healthy' places to visit and also noted as a 'One Tank Trip' destination from the Atlanta Metro Area.

Response from the owner Thank you for your comments and they will be taken under advisement. The issue of the dusty ceiling fan has been addressed with my housekeeper. Yes, the complex is older but the management does an awesome job keeping it well maintained. As for the linens, I try to rotate those every few months, however they do get worn from daily wear and tear and constant washing.
