Description

A place in the city and still enjoy the outdoors, this is what we offer.

Our houseboat lies in upcoming / hot Amsterdam North close to the NDSM shipyard.

Your private room is located on the quiet water side with stunning views over the water.

The best way to wake up and enjoy the morning sun.

The bathroom and Toilet is next to your room.

Although we also use it, we mostly don’t need to while you are around.

In summer you can enjoy the sun in our garden or terrace on the water and even swim. But also in the other seasons it is wonderful to just watch over the water.

Getting around

If you want to cycle, take a ride through the beautiful city and / or go to the countryside. It only takes 5 minutes and you're in the country. You can even visit Zaanse Schans, Volendam, Edam and the picturesque garden villages of Amsterdam North Free Parking nearby the house Amsterdam Center has many restaurants, bars and clubs. But also in North Amsterdam are within walking distance many good restaurants. We all know them, so feel free to ask for information. Public transport is around the corner, frequent and affordable. The ferries to Central Station are free. There are night buses. In summer there is a night ferry from Central Station to NDSM. On the bike to Central Station is about 15 min. Walking and Ferry ca. 20 min to CS

Interaction with guest

We also live in this home and we like the interaction with our guests. But of course we will also respect your privacy. We have our 3 cats Nena, Schrikkel and Baby Divah. they love to be around you and like very much the attention. We want to share with our guests, that what we enjoy every day, relaxedness and the beauty of living on the water. After a good night sleep we can offer you breakfast on request. You can also book a boat trip with Gerard if we are available. Prices on request.
