Description

The Location - Take a short stroll to the end of the street (250m) to the foreshore and discover an array of restaurants, cafe's and bars as well as the Newcastle and Game Fishing Club plus the infamous Country Club Hotel which provides entertainment and meals. Shoal Bay Beach is one of the most vibrant and colourful pockets of Port Stephens and offers guests ample of activities including kayaking (hire available), swimming, snorkeling and fishing or you can just relax on the white sandy beach. Hire a bike from Shoal Bay Bike Hire located just 100m from the front door for a full range of bicycles including tandems. While you're there be sure to book a space on the public tennis courts located opposite (racket and ball hire also available) plus a playground. There is a lovely bike path that connects Shoal Bay to Fingal Bay.  Nelson Bay CBD and Marina are approx 3km away.

The Unit - This ground floor two bedroom unit provides guests with a split system air conditioner in the open plan living room, lounge-suite, flat screen TV, DVD, CD player, timber and wrought iron dining table and chairs for six guests plus a fully equipped kitchen with island bench, oven, stove-top, microwave, full size fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The downstairs unit has full access to the front courtyard surrounded by high walls and tropical landscaped gardens and includes a gas BBQ and outdoor setting. The main bedroom comes with a queen size bed,  mirrored built-in robe and ceiling fan, with the second bedroom also offering a queen size bed, side table, built-in robe and ceiling fan plus a single bed. The bathroom has a glass shower, vanity and toilet. Other features include an internal laundry with front loading washing machine, dryer plus access to the rear yard. The property also provides ample car-parking as well as your trailer boat or jet skis.

The property also provides one car space on the pavers at the front entrance and 'easy access' with only one step making it also ideal elderly guests (rear yard is reserved for upstairs guests only).  There are definitely smoke alarms at this property.
