We're right at the entrance to the beach with an ocean view from our front porch. Our home is a clean family-oriented 4 bedroom cape cod....5th house from the Beach! It is a really short walk to the beach!

We just put in new kitchen cabinets, floor, appliances and granite counter tops...They are very nice!

There are several restaurants, a deli, a bakery, two ice cream shops, a CVS, and other stores, etc. within a block or two. It is a nice quiet neighborhood with many year-round and summer-season families. We've included pictures of some of them to give you an idea of what's nearby.

Check In time 2:00 PM; Check Out Time 10:00 AM. Weekly rentals only during the summer....Saturday to Saturday.

Once you arrive, you can park your car for the week. Included in the photos are some of the local shops 1-2 blocks from the house. This is an ideal location to vacation because everything is so close.

The owners very accommodating ; walk to beach farther then I wanted , disappointed no beach chairs, carts or grill . No toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap in bathrooms . The place was ok !

Response from the owner Carla - I'm sorry you didn't give us a better review and a little annoyed that your review is misleading. In our conversations, Carla wasn't worried about us providing beach chairs as the last place she stayed didn't provide them either.....Carla was asking to store her chairs with us for next year....go figure. We don't provide such things as people break or ruin them and fight about having to replace them.....not worth the headaches or expense on our part... I am also surprised she didn't mention how thrilled she was about the new kitchen and granite counters, especially since she wasn't expecting them or how happy she was about the nice front porch with the pretty landscaping to look at. Her daughter was especially thrilled about the large kitchen table so that the whole family could all play card games...but no mention of these in her review... I'm not clear about the comment about TP and soap...We don't normally provide consumables, but in all fairness, she should have mentioned how we gave her access to our closet with had paper towels, toilet paper and soap....not to mention the trash bags, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, cleaners, dish soap, dishwasher soap and sandwich bags that were inside the kitchen cabinets. We also didn't charge for the Swiffer mop that disappeared. Carla didn't mention how they neglected to bring any bed linens or bath towels, etc. and that my wife and I lent them our personal towels and bed sheets.....or that we didn't charge them for the two towels that were ruined....We don't normally provide these item to guests because they don't take care of them as we found out again in this case. We won't make that mistake again! Perhaps this is her off-hand reference to being accommodating. We later found that one of Carla's kids soiled one of the beds; she didn't tell us even after we asked her whether everything was alright. Fortunately, my wife was able to clean the sheets and mattress....and we didn't deduct anything from their security deposit. We make every effort to make sure the property is clean and enjoyable. Unfortunately, no matter what you do for some people, nothing satisfies them and they don't appreciate your efforts. This is a nice beach house not a hotel....If you want hotel accommodations, Atlantic City is 5 minutes away and has many hotels at $200-$600/night per room depending upon your taste....There are also new "McMansions" for rent around us, but please plan on spending at least double what we charge...and I don't think they provide beach chairs either.... :)
