Description

Villa Pennlee is a detached residence set in its own gardens located in the Los Pocillos area of Puerto del Carmen, the Islands main resort.

Quiet and peaceful, yet only a short stroll to the many shops and excellent restaurants, and in close proximity to the large sandy beaches as well as several smaller less busy coves. Several excursions are easily available, a trip to the huge bustling Sunday Market in the old town of Teguise is not to be missed.

The Villa is on a small complex and benefits from Wi-Fi and UK TV and a shared swimming pool which has steps at one end giving allowing easy access to and from the water with a large shallow area ideal for our younger visitors. Leading from the air conditioned living room is a large patio furnished with table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco. With one double and one twin bedroom, the villa is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

Wifi, Uk television and use of the bbq are all provided free of charge.

Air conditioning is also provided free of charge, all we ask is that the air conditioning is only used when required and turned off when the property is empty  (e.g.: if you are out during the day or evening).

Hire of cots and highchairs can be arranged for you if necessary through our property manager.

The villa is best suited to mature couples.

Families and children are also most welcome however as the villa is in a quiet residential area children must be supervised at all times.

In the communal area's including the pool area noise must be kept to a minimum to avoid disturbance to residents, please see the house rules section within this advertisement for further info.

Parties of all Male or all Female groups are not accepted.

Children are welcome, however to avoid complaints from residents rules in communal and pool areas must be observed and followed.
1. Children must be accompanied and noise must be kept to minimum at all times.
2. Running jumping pushing or throwing of persons into the pool or any other noisy or dangerous behaviour is forbidden in the pool area.

4. No ball games.
5. No food, alcohol or glass containers to be taken to the pool area.

“Amazing stay”

Had a lovely relaxing week at this gorgeous Villa. The Villa is situated in a quiet private complex, there’s a shared pool, this was heated although we didn’t use it. This area is perfect for a relaxing week or there’s loads near by if you want to venture out. There are plenty of restaurants on the main road which is a 5 minute walk away, further along there are loads of shops, restaurant’s and a shopping centre. Dean was a great help as was the villa owner, both were very understanding when it came to rescheduling due to the crazy times we are living in right now. We have visited this area for over 20 years and it is perfect in every way. This Villa is exceptional value for money compared to many others in the area. It was a little cooler than usual so the heating system was perfect for the evening’s. Full internet tv which was great for all round viewing. Beds we’re amazingly comfortable and there are extra covers if required. We will return back.

“Excellent villa could not fault it!”

Lovely place, villa perfect with a nice quiet garden to chill in. Bars, restaurants & beach all within walking distance. We did hire a car because we like to visit all the places all over the Island including Puerto del carmen, Playa Blanca, Costa Teguise. There are local buses nearby & you can take the water bus to Puerto Colero which has lovely boats & Yachts you can view whilst having a drink or a nice meal. Local supermarket nearby as well if you fancy cooking & drinking at the Villa as there is plenty space with all amenities. We have stayed here many times and will definitely come back! The owner & housekeeper are always helpful should you need them.

“Another perfect week”

This is becoming our 2nd home, every time we come we slot right into the Lanzarote lifestyle. You just walk to the main road and you have the more quite Matagorda to the left or to the right the more hustle and bustle of Puerto del Carmen....I shouldn't be recommending this villa as it gets very quickly booked up :)

“A treasure of a Villa.”

We stayed at the lovely Villa Pennlee from the 16th to the 25th May last, it was a pure gem of a Villa. The bedrooms were spacious and very cool. The location was exactly what we wanted in a lovely quiet area, and from where it was no distance to walk to shops and restaurants. We are all avid walkers so it was a walkers paradise. The Villa had everything you could wish for, while we did not eat in at night, it had everything you would wish for to cook in. There was a bbq outside but we did not use that either. There was a washing machine there also. We loved it so much that we booked it again for next year, and in fact booked it before we left, in case it would be gone. A fab Villa and would highly recommend it. We have stayed in several different places in that area over the years and this was most definitely our favourite. Peig, Fergus & Ro.

“Fantastic villa!”

My daughter & I had a fantastic week in beautiful villa Pennlee. The villa is kept spotless & well maintained by Jill the manager. It has everything you could wish for, even down to a sewing kit! We were very lucky with the weather, it was scorching. We mainly sunbathed on the private terrace (even though the beach is at the bottom of the road) & were lucky enough to have the pool to ourselves for the whole week. The villa is very conveniently situated away from the hustle & bustle, but only a 15 minute stroll to the bars & restaurants. We are already looking forward to our next visit, which can’t come soon enough.

“Sad”

Sad - only because we shall not be returning to Villa Pennlee next year. And the only reason for that is because it is already booked for the dates we wanted. That, of course, speaks for itself. I think we have now made five visits and each has been characterised by absolute relaxation and great fun. We love the place and rather than repeat myself I can only refer you to previous reviews I have given. Any place that is mainly booked up 12 months in advance has to be exceptional!
