This 3 bedroomed apartment is located in the small coastal town centre of San Luis de Sabinillas, close to the picturesque port of Duquesa, is also offered for 3 MONTHLY LONG-TERM LET / EXTENDED HOLIDAY RENTAL.

The apartment rental is aimed at one or two couples that want to holiday and sample what living or retiring to Spain would be like... without buying a property... without living in an Ex-Pat community... without living in a holiday complex...

This 3 bed-roomed apartment is best enjoyed by one, or two, couples who wish to sample and enjoy a Spanish way of life and have the advantage of two additional bedrooms for the option to welcome family and friends for a visit.

The town of San Luis de Sabinillas is a picturesque coastal town of Manilva and is situated between Marbella and Gibraltar, maps may not show the town but it is just past Estepona.

A few hundred metres and just a few minutes walk to shops, bars restaurants, shaded squares and the beach.

It is an ideal location to explore this region of Andalucia, enjoy living in a small Spanish Town with many Tapas Bars and restaurants, sample local fish delicacies.

Within reach via car trips; visit the old quarter of Ronda, inspiration for American artists Ernest Hemingway and Orson Welles, enjoy window shopping in Marbella & Puerto Banus. Observe the Rock of Gibraltar from the Spanish hill top town of San Roque, view the historic fortifications of the Rock Gibraltar, home of the Barbary Apes; see the twinkling lights at night on the Continent from Cueta and Mellia, the Spanish enclaves in Morocco. Take the fast 'Seacat' across the 12 mile straits to north Africa and wonder at the city of Tangiers. Explore inland Andalusia, villages such as Jimena de la Frontera a town in 1879, during the reign of Alfonso XII. Travel further south to the vibrant, bustling Port Cities of Algeciras and Cadiz, the Parque Natural Los Alcornocales "the cork oak groves", sample the pleasures of the vine from the micro-climate at the Golden Triangle for Sherry of Jerez, Sanlucar de Barrameda to the west and El Puerto de Santa Maria to the south. Moorish-influenced Architecture, Hondo music, flamenco, local fiestas and festivals, good food, vino fino and bellota jamon and of course so much much more...

For those that will enjoy cooking the local produce at home, a well-fitted kitchen, granite worksurface, two under-set sinks, waste disposal unit, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, two fridges, freezer and utility room are at your disposal. The kitchen has a convivial work surface to ceiling opening through to the dining area and lounge which opens to the south-facing balcony with hardwood tables and chairs for meals al fresco.

A great benefit of town centre living is no reliance of a car to enjoy your day. You can enjoy the relaxed living at this apartment, just a short walk to many bars, restaurants and supermarkets and a sandy beach just a few hundred metres and a 10 to 15 minute walk away, so long as you don't stop for coffee's and pastries enroute!

For a change of town scenery a 15 minute's walk along the coast you will find the picturesque Duquesa Port, Puerto de Duquesa, a Golfing and Marina Development with waterside shops, bars, restaurants and cafes.

Like many parts of Europe and Spain there are pockets of Ex Pat communities to be found nearby if you also want to enjoy making new English friends...

Getting around

San luis de Sabinillas is a small coastal town so the best transport around the town is on foot. The town gets very busy in the summer months with visitors looking for bars restaurants and the beach. (Parking can be difficult but as a guest you have the allocated parking bay in the car park beneath the apartments. What to go further afield and don't want to take the car? There is a bus service that operates between Malaga and Cadiz and a local service from Sabinillas can link you to this. Car hire is available at the 3 nearest airports, Malaga, Gibraltar and Jerez and in Sabinillas too.

Eli was quick to respond to messages and through prompt exchanges we soon built a rapport and I was able to impart suggestions that I felt may have been useful to her group. It was very pleasing to be helpful and great to know they enjoyed the stay in our apartment and at the town. I’ve never met ELI personally but I feel she is a very nice person and a great guest!! (For those who don’t read Spanish, this is what ELI said)... "Pleasant holiday in Sabinillas... The apartment is very spacious and comfortable, including the terrace. It has all kinds of amenities and is in a quiet place but at the same time close to the beach and downtown Sabinillas, with the Mercadona supermarket next door, which is an advantage. Kevin is a great host, he quickly answered all our questions before booking and during our stay he was attentive at all times. The town is very nice and quiet, the beach is not crowded but has an atmosphere for all ages. We went to Sabinillas parties, with live music in the streets and lots of atmosphere. We repeat."

“Fantastic apartment and location.”

What can I say? Absolute brilliant apartment. Well presented. Three bedrooms though only needed one. Back bedroom best as away from the rising sun in the morning. Kitchen a great size though we used it seldom due to the local restaurants in the area. Location great within the town and you will find it very traditionally Spanish if you take the time to look around. Ten minute walk to beach. Five minutes to a couple of local bars and my favourite Spanish supermarket that has great fish available to buy. Very quiet area even during the August month. Everything at hand and locals extremely friendly. As a golfer the location was perfect for all the best courses on the Costa del Sol. For those that require Internet the connection was great. Highly recommended. The owner of the apartment could not have been more accommodating from the time of booking, through our stay there and on our return. For those wanting a typical Spanish experience, I cannot fault it.
