Cabo Verde, Kaapverdië, de Kaapverdische eilanden … heel wat verschillende namen voor één en dezelfde eilandengroep in de Atlantische oceaan (ter hoogte van Senegal), met een grote diversiteit aan landschappen op de verschillende eilanden, maar met één gemeenschappelijke attractie : de zon en de heerlijke zomerse temperatuur het ganse jaar rond en ... op slechts 6 uur vliegafstand verwijderd van België / Nederland.

Zo is Kaapverdië de dichtstbijzijnde vakantiebestemming, waar men het ganse jaar rond zekerheid heeft van een heerlijke temperatuur van min. 25° C. Tijdens de zomermaanden ongeveer 30° en tijdens de wintermaanden 23 à 25° C.

Voor wie van een kort of lang verblijf houdt, zijn er appartementen te huur aan bijzonder interessante voorwaarden, namelijk op het eiland Sal in het sinds 1998 nieuw gebouwde dorp Murdeira. Dit dorp ligt rond de "Baai van Murdeira". Alle woningen en appartementen liggen bijgevolg vlakbij of op nauwelijks een 50-tal meter van de zee !

De appartementen zijn prima geschikt voor een verblijf van 2 personen en er is alle westers comfort. Er is een zit-/eethoek met ingerichte keuken en alle bijhorende keukentoestellen, er is (kabel)-TV met Blu-ray speler, verzameling Blu-ray films, boeken, … In de slaapkamer bevindt zich een dubbelbed, (in 2 appartementen als 2 enkelbedden te plaatsen), er is een kluis, … In de badkamer is er douche, wasmachine e.d.m.

In elk van de appartementen is er Wi-fi voorzien !

De appartementen zijn heel centraal gelegen in het dorp, vlakbij de zwemkom, de (snack)bar, het restaurant, de receptie en de mini-mercado.

Een verblijf in de appartementen in Murdeira biedt een rustige omgeving met alle nodige faciliteiten, maar een bezoek aan de andere stadjes (Santa Maria, Espargos, Palmeira) met de vele lokale restaurantjes, kan makkelijk met het plaatselijk openbaar vervoer (mini-busjes), waarbij je voor 1 euro naar het meest toeristische stadje Santa Maria heen kan in nauwelijks 7', of naar het handelsstadje Espargos in 5'. Ook het taxi-vervoer is er goedkoop : 6 a 8 euro naar om het even welke bestemming.

De kosten voor energie (water en elektriciteit) zijn in de huurprijs inbegrepen, evenals het gebruik van het zwembad.
