Description

Our small independent cottage, classic style and well distributed, this vacational house is located at the foot of Santa Barbara Castle and just a few meters from the Villa de Teguise, best architectural historic-artistic ensemble of the Canary Islands.

In the same space you have the living room and kitchen/dining area. Terracotta floors and lots of wood provide a cosy atmosphere. Well furnished terrace with stunning views to the interior of the island and with one of the best sunsets seen on the island. Teguise hosts the largest market on the island on Sunday morning. As being in the centre of the island you will be just minutes from the Famara beach and very close to the Manrique's art work. This house is an ideal starting point to explore the island of Lanzarote.

WELCOME: We request your arrival information in order to organize your check in. Whenever it is possible for us, we welcome our guests at the door of the house. There we complete a brief check in form, we give you a welcome pack (water, milk, packets of coffee and tea, cookies, crackers, ½ bottle of wine from Lanzarote and a cleaning kit) along with a welcome letter with personal recommendations of the island along with helpful information and telephone numbers. We are available when needed to resolve any questions you may have and we remain at your disposal 24 hours for anything you need. For the little ones, we can, for an additional fee organise a BABY PACK (cot, high chair, linen, blanket, towel, shower kit as well as portable bath and dishes apt for children). Request this before your arrival.

The check in time is from 3:00 PM. The check out of the house is by 11:00 PM. If you want arrive before or leave later, no problem, tell us to check availability.

CLEANING: The house comes with fresh clean sheets, fresh bath towels, beach towels and tea towels. In the bathroom: hand soap, moisturizer dispenser and gel/shampoo dispenser. Additionally we leave an extra set of bath towels and sheets. This cleaning service carries a fixed charge. If you want extra cleaning service during the stay please just ask us for more information.

CAR RENTAL: I recommend you hire a rent a car before coming to Lanzarote as there is a high demand. We work with a strong company on the island, for your booked dates I can organise and book your car with special conditions, included tax fees, free cancellation, no deposit fee required, full insurance, no fuel charge, unlimited kilometres and a second driver included. If you would like me to arrange the rent a car booking, all I would need is your flight details.

I feel that for you the heating with gas was not to your liking, I have one at home and I have never suffered what has happened to you, it is a pitty you didnt mentioned when we meet because it could cause a fire. I took advantage of your comment to check it and I have not detected any smoke coming out, I would have liked to be able to help you when you were here, when I saw you in person and I left the electric heater because of yours headhacke you did not tell me anything about it, not even about the bed sheets or tea towels , we always leave two tea towels and a welcome pack of cleaning, normally enough for a week, that's why the house has a washing machine, although I would not have minded to bring new ones. Response from the manager Hi, thank you for your commentary; as this information helps us to improve the house. I would be happy to respond to your commentary. The cost of 60€ is for the cleaning for the house (60m2) and the services provided; bed linen, towels, welcome pack and extra bed linen and towels for you to use during your stay. This integral price covers the costs of the services provided. With regards to the cleaning, on my behalf I responded to your comment and re-sent the cleaning lady to clean the details you had found that were not to your expectative. Sometimes it happens that an arrival coincides with our checking out clients of the house, this is why I always request the arrival time so I can organize your welcoming to the house; in your case you arrived to the house at 13:30 where we received you despite even our official check-in time is 15:00. In some cases sometimes our following clients have to wait until 15:00 regardless if their arrival time is prior to this time. Whenever our clients request a radiator we provide it to them happily, as the area can sometimes be slightly chilly. Like in your case, you requested a radiator and it was provided. In Casa Los Divisos, the boiler is electric (50 liters) and when the hot water is used after a long shower naturally the cold water which has replaced the hot water must heat up to the set temperature. This week at Casa Los Divisos, we have changed the shower curtains for a glass pane and a new bigger shower plate. Soon I will update the photos on Flip Keys Publication. The products like washing machine detergent, sponge, cloth, greasy removal, match sticks are all provided under the washing sink in the under-cupboard; I’m sorry you didn’t find them. I would like to thank you again for your comments, you respect the opinion of our clients and I don’t think that any of our houses are a joke. I am sorry that despite my full co-operation in resolving all your requests with positive response, your stay at our house was not enjoyed on your behalf; our goal is that our clients return in the near future.
