Description from owner

Description

Once a horse stable, The Stable now sleeps up to five (with a queen, a full, and a twin) just a short walk from a private beach. Amenities include a full kitchen, indoor and outdoor showers, a patio with a picnic table and charcoal grill, and a hammock.

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING: Rentals in season (April-October) are only offered by the week (Saturday-Saturday). November rentals are offered with a four-night minimum. Rentals December-March are offered with a three-night minimum

The Stable was once a small horse stable. The cottage now consists of a large room divided to provide a smaller room that houses a "working man's" twin bed. During the winter of 2014, a separate cottage (8x10) "Lil Rose" was completed, giving The Stable a very private second bedroom. In the main space there is a Cape kitchen with a 4 burner stove and 1/2 refrigerator, a table for 2 or 3, a queen sized custom platform bed, comfortable couch, stereo TV and DVD player, wi-fi, and lots of windows on the surrounding foliage which includes black pine, olive trees and wild beach plantings. A fireplace was added to the stable, enhancing its off season ambience! The Stable now works well for a maximum of a couple with two children or an occasional guest but should be "family." There is a Queen size bed, a Full (Lil Rose) and a Twin available for Guests. There is an inside shower room and a bath room in The Stable. An outside terrace features deck chairs, a picnic table, a charcoal grill, and a very private outdoor shower. Although a dune blocks the Stable from having a bay view, you can hear the surf at night and a private path puts you at the top of the dune in less than a minute. The cottage is fully insulated, the interior has been completely finished in 18th century barnboard painted white, and is fully heated. It is comfortable year round.

You'll have access to a private beach just seconds from The Stable, shared only with guests of the other two cottages.

Truro is a great small town surrounded by the Cape Cod National Seashore, freshwater ponds, hiking trails, and great restaurants. It's just a 15-minute drive to downtown Provincetown where you'll find nightlife, galleries, theater, and whale watching.
