Description
The apartment is located in the ground floor of a listed timbered building (built in 1770). It is a short walk away from the Castle of Salem with its famous boarding school and Affenberg with 200 Barbary macaques roaming freely in the forest. Lake of Constance is 10 minutes away by car (8 kilometers). The area next to the house is a nature reserve with the old monastery lakes of the times when Salem Castle was home to Cistercian monks.
Villa Salem has beautiful gardens with hibiscus, azaleas, lilac and other shrubs and herbs and a big wooden terrace for your exclusive use.
The whole apartment is light and spacious with warm colours and wooden floors.
The kitchen is well-equipped and has a little seating area for a relaxed breakfast in the morning sun (east-facing). The living/dining room (south-facing) with TV, DVD, stereo has a view of the old village center.
A typical German baker and butcher are 50 meters away, the train station, supermarkets and Salems best restaurant are 2 minutes by car.
Salem has a fantastic swimming lake featuring a Robinson Island, beach volleyball, water play areas, priate boats and floating Islands. It is in walking distance from Villa Salem.

“Lovely stay”
Thank you for the lovely stay we had at Villa Salem! Even during the heat wave your house stayed nice and comfortable. The girls loved the trampoline, rabbits, visiting the pigs and horses and swimming in all the lakes. We will definitely recommend the place to our friends!
