Description

Wonderful red summer house 200 meters from the lovely beach of Hideviken, Gotland.

All the conveniencies you need and want, including washer, dishwasher, WIFI internet, bluray DVD and LED-TV, etc.

Main building (50 sqm) has two small bedrooms with one kingsize bed in the first room and two separate beds in the second bedroom.

A large veranda under roof with infra heating is the natural place for yor dinners and evening activities.

Two identical guest cabins on the property with 3 beds each.

In one of the guest cabins there is a separate plasma-TV with DVD-recorder, perfect to teenagers for watching horror movies in the midst of the night before sleep. Or playing TV-games (bring your own play console)

Tennis court just 100 meters away, but you have to bring your own rackets and balls.

This is the perfect summer place for families with children for 1-4 weeks vacations. The ideal spot for discovering the stunningly beautiful island, the home of Ingemar Bergman.

Car is needed.

No linen or towels provided. You are responsible for cleaning the house yourselves after your stay. Leave it in the same condition as when you arrived

“Nice house close to the beach”

A nice house with many beds close to the quiet beach. 2 small buildings with extra beds. A great place for the family who likes a calm stay.

Response from the owner I am sorry that our house in Hideviken didn't meet with your expectations. We tried our best to accomodate you and meet with your wishes and demands during your stay. We have rented out our houses for 17 years now, every summer, we have had a lot of Swedish and German guests over these years. You and your wife was our first Suiss guests. All I can say is that we have never ever met even remotely such a negative "judgement" from any guest. A german family decided to come back two years in a row (Thomas Schleppenbäumer with family 2014-2015), and the two families who arrived right after you sent me a spontaneous text message right on arrival this Saturday saying "what a wonderful place you have here". Just to put your criticism in some perspective. I am sorry you feel how you feel, I think we are very sincere and open about what we offer, we dont try to hide something or promise something we cannot deliver, what you see is what you got. You had, for example, opinions about the interior and order of the outhouse shed wehere we keep garden tools and lawn mover. We will in future most certainly publish an inside photo of the shed to prevent future "shocks" for coming guests. It's after all a storage shed. At the back of the house there are lines to hang wet laundry. Evreybody, including ourelves, hang the laundry to dry there. You are the first to even raise that subject, laundry lines.
