Description
Margerita Farmhouse is located in the village centre of Xaghra, Gozo in a quiet cul de sac.The main door leads to an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area. The large kitchen includes a 4 hob cooking unit, oven, fridge/freezer and a toaster. In the kitchen cupboards there are all the cooking pans, crockery and cutlery that are needed for the sojourn of 6 persons. The dining area consists of a rustic style table that accommodates 6 persons. In the lounge there is a TV and a comfortable couch that can be open up as a bed and from here a wide-arched glass door opens to a private swimming pool. On the ground floor there is also a large bathroom with all needed amenities.Upstairs there is the main bedroom and another bedroom with two single both having ensuite shower room which include a WC, shower and vanity unit. There is also a sun terrace with winding staircase that goes up to the roof where a beautiful panorama of Gozo can be enjoyed. “Gozo villa”
Overall on first impression we where very happy with the villa , but we had a few issues First the fridge wasn’t working and in temperatures of 30+ we really needed it , the owners where very prompt with reply to my email but as we arrived on a Friday we had to wait until Monday for a new one . Second there where no sun beds !!!! There where 2 old style deck chairs, my partner sat on one on the first day and it collapsed he hurt his back , and has had to go to the doctor since we have got home , lucky my son lives nearby and we borrowed 2 from him . Third the pool went green 3 days before we left , the owner came and shocked it for us but we couldn’t go in it for 2 days , so we packed up and went to stay with my son who has a pool . One other mention, I think the house could benefit from air conditioning and maybe mesh on the windows to keep the mosquitoes out

I wish to point out that your stay lasted 10 days and linen is changed each week. However, in our pack we had given you our mobile numbers for any assistance and if you had called us that you needed the linen and towels before, we would surely have obliged as we always want our guests to enjoy their holiday in our holiday home.
