Coconut Springs Holiday Estate - 'An Experience Like No Other'. A Superb villa, an exotic plantation and a mini lake.

Your 3 acre hideaway, just 7kms from the international airport, 17 kms to the famous Negombo beach and 30 kms to the city of Colombo.

The accommodation at the Coconut Springs Holiday Estate consists of a living room, dining room, a master bedroom (which can sleep three, by adding an extra bed) featuring its own separate entrance and sitting area, plus two further double bedrooms, all provided with air conditioning, ceiling fans and en-suite bathrooms. All the bedrooms feature garden views with access via walk-through windows enabling guests to explore the grounds without the need to go through the living room or the main entrance.

The dining room, has a large sitting area, an ideal place to relax with an after dinner drink. You can select to have your meals in the dining room, the veranda or anywhere outside in the garden.

There is a fully fitted kitchen at your disposal for self catering.

If you prefer to relax, our cooks will prepare the dish of your choice in the second separate outside kitchen. This kitchen has the added facility to cook the traditional Sri Lankan way, in clay pots using our own firewood. You can supply the ingredients or just tell us your preferences and we’ll do the rest.

A washing machine is provided, along with TV and Wi-fi for your convenience.

On the left hand side of the villa is our main exotic plantation. Apart from the coconut trees there are paw-paw, olive, bananas, star fruit, mangoes, passion fruit, rambutan, king coconut, bread fruit, cashew, avocado, jack fruit, oranges, jam fruit, pomegranate, lemon and black pepper trees. During the fruiting season you are welcome to enjoy the produce from the plantation.

At the far end of the estate, beyond the exotic plantation is the mini lake. Here we encourage many species of water loving wild life to live. Among others there are fish, tortoises and frogs. You will even see land monitors and water monitors appearing in search of their prey. If you are interested in fishing, we will provide you with a fishing rod. If you are a bird watcher you will not be disappointed too.

There is a well by the mini lake, if you prefer to have an outside cold water bath you are welcome to use the bucket and draw water from the well. A unique experience, in itself.

On the banks of the mini lake is a Bodhi (Bo) tree. It is under a Bodhi tree that the Lord Buddha is said to have attained enlightenment. If you or your group are passionate about meditation or yoga there is ample ground in front of the Bodhi tree to practice your passion, alternatively, just relax in the evening by the mini lake.

To encourage wild life, we try to maintain the plantation and the mini lake area as close as possible to a nature reserve.

We can organise all your sightseeing tours anywhere in Sri Lanka or visits to the beach. Just let us know your preferences when you arrive.

If you are a Meditation, Yoga or a Fitness instructor, this is the ideal location to bring your students on a combined training session and a unique holiday. There's a foot path around our plantation and the mini lake for jogging and running. There is a play area in front of the lake and BBQ facilities.

In order to appreciate what this estate can offer, we recommend a minimum stay of 2 days.

Whilst the bungalow accommodates 6 guests in comfort, by adding an extra bed in bedroom 1 the total number of guests can be increased to 7.

You could hire a car with a driver for long distance journeys and 3-wheeler tuk-tuk for visits to the local supermarkets, bank, pharmacies etc all of which are situated in the town of Minuwangoda, just 2 kms away. Our caretaker will help you to find the appropriate mode of transport.
