Enjoy pure fresh air and peace and quiet in Villa/country house situated in Medvednica Nature Park – Kamenitih Svatova. Comprising of 1 twin bedroom, Baby cot and bath is also available. First floor sitting room with a comfortable spacious bed settee, sleeps 2, bathroom with shower. Private balcony with an additional 'alfresco shower'. A second toilet is located on the ground floor plus kitchen/dining and a terrace for outdoor dining. Panoramic mountain views can be enjoyed from all balconies. Chill in the swimming pool, enjoy a game of snooker or darts in the games room. Free car park and an ample barbecue area is also provided. You can take a walk up Kamentih Svatova (marked route) approximately 45 minutes to the top. During the summer and autumn you can stop along the way to collect wild mushrooms and chestnuts. Dogs are welcome at no extra charge but should be kept under control. We have good motorway access, bus service and local shop is a 5 minute walk. A golf course, horseriding, paragliding and a gym are within easy reach in Zapresic. We have a local traditional restaurant and a fish restaurant in Ivanec, a pizzeria with a casual pub atmosphere in Bistra. You will find these restaurant prices will suit any pocket. West Gate shopping centre is 5 minutes by car; it has lots of shops, restaurants, a supermarket and even a good sized children's play centre (with free child minding) which leaves you free to shop. There is a frequent free bus service to Zagreb (20 mins.) from West Gate. In Zagreb city you will find Art Galleries, National Museum, restaurants, Cathedral and traditional markets where you can buy souvenirs plus much more to see. Trams are still in use around the city centre and are very convenient to hop on and off. You can take a trip to Sljeme mountain. Enjoy a picnic by the lake in Jarun where you can also cycle or roller skate. Take a trip to Samobor with it's many walking routes. Visit the caves there and finish off in the main square with a Kremsnite (similar to a vanilla slice). Pilgrims travel to the shrine in Marija Bistrica approx 30 mins drive you can also see the open air church. A day trip to Plitvice lakes and waterfalls is an absolute must , about 1 ½ hour by car. Rijeka is the closest town by the coast a 2 hour drive. Zagreb Velesajam (Exhibition centre) and Arena where sports events and concerts take place are 20 mins by car. There is an ample choice of Wellness and Thermo pools to choose from in the area.

“Amazing family retreat”

What a lovely location and fantastic host who couldnt do enough for you. Great facilities such as pool and snooker room to keep the kids occupied. All in all a great place to stay and i would definately recommend the place to others.
