“Ard a Mhoire”
The cottage is small and basic but very clean and Sean met us on arrival and give us a tour of the cottage, he presented us with a bottle of wine and a box of chocs which was a luvely touch. The surrounding views were beautiful and hard to beat. A visit to Assaranca falls and Maghera beach is a must. Thanks again Sean for a luvely stay.

“Idyllic Setting”
The location of this house is fantastic. If you are looking to get away from it all this is the place to be. Sean is so friendly and helpful. He showed us all around the house and also left us a bottle of wine and chocolates. Fabulous base to explore the peninsula and Sean so helpful with local knowledge. The house was clean, well equipped and pet friendly - a huge plus with enclosed gardens, our dog loved it. Accommodated 6 adults comfortably. Night sky and early morning sun rise breath taking. We enjoyed a pint of Guinness in 'The Beehive' in Ardara, very friendly staff and locals.

“Majestic Mountains”
The scenery is stunning; the peace and tranquility unbelievable - the only sounds were from sheep, cattle or the occasional tractor on the mountain road. We had great weather which helped but I'd challenge you to find a more beautiful spot in Donegal. I loved to sit on the front step of an evening taking in the views and feeling calmed by the utter stillness all around. Sean was extremely friendly and accommodating and very easy to deal with. The house is grand - beautiful views from every aspect - the only niggle is that the WiFi is patchy (we could only access it once in 6 days) but having said that, that didn't bother me as I wanted to get away from it all and this location and accommodation hit the mark. The beautiful strand beach is 10 minutes walk from the house and never really packed (but watch out for the jelly fish)! If you are looking for a tranquil getaway in stunning surroundings, this is the place for you. I've visited many locations in Donegal over the years but this one stole my heart.
